Anybody ever thought about this? Like if you have a 2H item, like a crossbow or warhammer, that will be on your back while your 1H items are out, like a sword and shield?

I've been highly thinking about this ever since my follower glitched his gear. I told him to leave me be and when I went to get him back, he had his Crossbow on his back yet his steel sword on his side... (Which tbh, looks pretty BA awesome).

Sort of like how the weapons are placed on the characters of Assassin's Creed right? I'd like that. The option is there, its just turned off.

Wait. Bethesda actually did this but left it off?

I'd love to be able to have my archers wear their bows on their backs; heck, even have the option to wear the quiver on the hip as well as on the back. Not essential to gameplay, but most visual effects are not--they exist for immersion, whether you are RPing yourself in Tamriel or RPing a character with a separate personality from your own.
