anytime i bring up an item (like a bed, chair, fridge...building!.. etc)
the outline for it is placed quite some distance away from me.
obviously i cant measure ingame exactly.
but it feels like about 20-30ft away from wherever my character is standing.
even if there is nothing in the way and its a large open space. the object will still be distant and hard to place exactly as a result.
example - to place a chair just outside the building opposite the workbench in sanctuary, i have to actually be stood by the workbench itself.
thats wrong.
on a side note the object is often at the wrong orientation on the x axis aswell.
sometimes resulting in a chair that facing away from me. making placement near the side of a building under a patio for example as virtually impossible.
as you need to be inside the building looking out... and a walls in he way.
a way to rotate the object, or snap it around 90degrees at a time before placing. would be ideal if its not a actual gameplay 'feature'
