I put some items into chest. After 4-5 days they were gone. How to fix this?

yeah most containers respawn every 3 days. Here are some http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Containers#Safe_Containers. Or try http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion_talk:Containers#Other_.27Safe.27_Containers.

So if I buy a house for example in Chorrol, all items I put there wont disappear after 5 or 10 or more days, right?

Do you mean in your house? But of you don't then all containers will respawn after 3-5 days. There are a few safe containers in the game though. Check www.uespwiki.com for details.

The easiest way to see if a container is marked respawnable is to put something you don't need into one. Then leave for 3 days (no less, not even an hour), and return to see if it's still there.

Note that many house mods have plenty of non-respawnable containers, so you can drop your belongings safely in there--or on the floors--without any fear of losing the contents.

It's not always a good idea to put things on the floor, they may "glitch" trough
Non-respawning containers are the best bet.

P.S.: unfortunately the items are gone

I guess everyone else gave you the bad news, so I won't belabor the point. Let me expand on the "leave for 3 days" concept. '3 Days' means 72 hours by the game clock. It is always best to be safe and use 73 or 74 hours. 'Leave' means go completely out of the cell. If the container is out of doors the confines of the cell may be difficult to determine.

If you are inside a building or cave or other place where you must activate a door and then wait while a load screen is displayed, then it is as simple as going back out that door?or another similar one into another interior cell.

It is also not necessary to play the game for that period?you can simply use the Wait or sleep options for three 24 hour periods (+1 hour, just to be safe.) you can then go back through the door and check the chest. if your item is there it is reasonable to assume the chest is safe.

I have never had a problem in all my years playing the game with leaving items on the floor of any house mod I use. The key to succeeding is reading the readme, and testing out everything, to make sure ahead of time what works.

I also avoid using houses by people who post such things as, "Heyman gud hose her u like." ;)

I did that once in fighters guild, chest near bed.

One other note, if you have too many items in a chest, they will appear to have disappeared. If you "take all" you will find them in your inventory. This is due to a glitch that only lists so much crap you have put in a single chest.

This command takes me at her place, but still no sign of her. Is there any other command to add her?

Go to her place, open the console, and type:

player.placeatme 000234AF

That should work. It might just create a duplicate if she's stuck somewhere else, but at worst you'll see two of her in the future if the other gets free. Then you can always disable the clone you've created.

If you find several other NPCs missing, however, I would suggest reviewing your modlist or reinstalling.

More likely than not, the original Rasheda is dead. It happens.

Rasheda died in one of my games as well. I have no idea how it happens since she never leaves her house? Maybe a monster got inside her store? I just used an earlier save and she didn't die this time. I still don't know what happened.

In that same game Glarthir also died somehow. I had the quest to meet him at midnight but he would never show up. This time I read the wiki which shows how to get a NPC back without cloning. You use "prid " to target the NPC. First make sure they aren't stuck by using "moveto player". If they are alive, they should now be next to your character. If not, they are dead and need to be revived. First, you type "enable" to make the NPC appear in the world again. They will be dead still, so now you use "resurrect 1". They will stand back up full of life. Resurrect by itself does the same thing but their inventory is reset. Adding the number 1 retains their inventory from before (minus any weapons they dropped upon dying).

Oh yeah, all this is done in the console with the ~ key.

Yep, I also had this problem, and using the player.placeatme command worked.
