Its all greek to me...Game crashs on hitting "Play"

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 2:16 am

Look...I know I'm not the best when it comes to understanding computers and stuff...so rather then spam up everyone's else's topics, I just started a new one with the hope someone with more teck skill can answer my questions. I've read threw several topic posts on here and a few other pages but I'm still lost. I don't get why my cpu can play the game...I play a lot of the new games with no problems and this is the first time I've had any problem with a game starting on my computer.

Let me give you a break down of what I have to work with...

Windows 10 home

English setting

Toshiba Satellite P55-A

Bios 1.90

Processor Intel i5-42000u 1.60GHz (4 CPUs), 2.3GHZ

Memory 6144MB Ram

Available OS Memory 6056MB Ram

Windows Dir C:\WINDOWS

DirectX Version 11.2

DX Setup Parameters Not found

User DPI Setting Using System DPI

System DPI Setting 120 DPI (125 percent)

DWM DPI Scaling Unknown

Miracast Available, with HDCP

Microsoft Graphics Hybrid Not Supported

DxDiag Version 10.00.10240.16384 64bit Unicode

So every time I press the "Play" button a small back screen comes on about 1/4 the size of my full screen. Runs for 4 to 6 seconds then closes. that's it...not error mesg., nothing else.

Has anyone figured this problem out with a like or close to operating system? And if so...can you post details on how to fix it.

PS Save everyone some time, but "NO" I will not be upgrading my hardware or buying a new laptop. This is what I have and that's that.

Thanks

If you don't have a dedicated GPU I'm afraid to say "that is that".

Yeah it's a laptop...did you even read what the guy said?

@OP - I don't think integrated GPU"s work so well with this game, but you can try running the game in windowed mode.

I did. He said not upgrading hardware or buying a new laptop. That makes whether his current system is a desktop or laptop a legitimate question as he did not specify.

That said, I agree and if it is in fact a laptop with intergrated graphics, it's not up to snuff.

Yeah...Toshiba Satellite P55-A312 and I've updated all the drives for the Intel i5-4200u and stuff. 0-o (lost look) Does this have to do with the Intel not supporting 3d? (read on a post) but I also read you can "force" it to work like a 3d card. or I could just not get it and be rambling on lol
