Quest items should be removable in my inventory.

I want to decorate my home with all the pretty Black Books I have found. Mhm.

Should they? Sure, why not. Will they? No. Bethesda is done.

That's why Bethseda has gone to video game hell. Their studio is burning crispy.

It's sad when a studio can no longer take criticism.

But I'm being serious. I'd like for the next game at least to be able to remove quest items.

The next TES game should allow console users to access the console.

can't believe I said that.

You know for me.

I remember the day of yore, when companies actually spoke with the people who played with their games. Now they are all hidden away somewhere, to much money, to much fame, and they no longer really care.

We got

Hearthfire, Dawnguard, and Dragonborn as DLCs. so three DLCs.

Where as a Oblivion got

Horse Armor [minor and was more of a patch], Mehrunes Dagon, Shivering Isle, and Knights of the Nine, so four

Fallout 3 had

The pitt, operation anchorage, broken steel, mothership zeta. so again what like four

And Skyrim has three, plus the dreaded we're no longer going to work on Skyrim.

aside (BARELY) the days of Morrowind some fringe elements in Oblivions release and in 2012 for skyrim, the devs have been as they are now, silent, elusive, enigmatic, and aloof to the forums

the post you made is not criticism, its borderline slander

Something people need to remember is, the Console commands ARE NOT cheat codes.. they are development tools used for debugging.. only reason the PC has them is to allow mod makers to test their mods more efficiently..
alot of console players seem to think they are just fun commands/cheats, but they are NOT

you never played Oblivion did you? there were alot more DLCs than you mentioned, but MOST were more of Micro Transactions than DLCs (horse armor included)
and remember, every one of Skyrims DLCs give way more content than any of Oblivions (shivering isles excluded)

I'm the last person to be chewing out about Console Commands, every one of my copies are PC, I've been messing with the Console since Morrowind to make my own Super Argonian Slave followers ;p. Console players are no more idiots than PC players, they can figure out whats what and having it available will allow folks like 27 the ability to unhinge Quest tags on items when they were no longer relevant or even fix their games when the inevitable bugs of the TES game rear their heads.

Oh it's like the CW threads, annoying and repetitive threads. :P

And they should, but will they? No because people will complain that they lost a quest item despite being constantly told by the NPC that gave them not to drop it *cough*Morrowind*cough*

You might want to look up what slander means, I don't think you're using it right. If I must, I may have to go more into detail. I have repeated it on this forum a number of times and I don't know how people miss these things.

I use to be a member on the Bioware forums as well. I had been a member of Bioware about the same time that I was a member here. We should have known with the expansion Dragon Age Awakening what was in store for us on Dragon Age 2. I was excited. Anticipated it's release. And look what we got, we got probably the worse game ever.

Skyrim, is still pretty great for what it has. But I have been burned before by companies. It's always in store for something worse. I want Bethseda to see the comments on the forum and really listen. Because when DA2 came out, Bioware stuck their fingers in their ears and pretended not to hear us. They said some rude things in their press conferences. Band a lot of members who spoke anything about DA2.

I want to know Bethseda is listening. Because I follow them. Because I have always been a fan of their games. I don't want them to follow down the same rabbit hole. I haven't bought another Bioware game ever since DA2, I stopped visiting their sight. As a consume we make the choice of what we accept and what we don't.

I don't want Bethseda to fall into that path.

Sure Skyrim, got more. But I dislike how a House making was one of their major DLCs, that should have been similiar packaged of something minor like horse armor.

That pissed me off the most when I first tried morrowind....I almost cried when I lost mah "xxx" item.

Good thing console commands saved my soul.

its not a thing about Console players not being smart enough, its about the purpose of the Console commands in general..

they are only meant for debugging and testing purposes, thats it.. and they left it in to make mod makers job easier..

just because a few people decide to use it in a manner it was not designed for, does not change its purpose..

Since Consoles don't have mods to make, they will not have access to console commands...

(console is starting to sound really weird.. think i just said it way to muc..)

I know Bethseda is capable of more. Its why I put them on such a higher pedastal. I know they are capable of something better. What they have is good, but it doesn't live up to the value, the quality they have had in the past. I want Bethseda more than anything to push forward and be who they are with a modern twist that doesn't mean sacrificing the value they have had in the past.

The companies that make the consoles do not want to allow game input from keyboards. If Microsoft/Sony won't allow game input from keyboards, it really doesn't matter what the developers want.

Skyrim is done. Any suggestions for the next game need to be made in the Elder Scrolls series forum, in the thread for speculation and wishes for the next game. It is really off-topic for Skyrim.
