Vault security

All vault guards are equipped with standard issue combat armor, and AE-P7 laser pistols for self defense. Included in civilian riot occuring is the brand new mesmetron from a subsidiary of Vault-tec.

All guards are to contain any and ALL vault residents from leaving. All outside sources will not be permitted within vault grounds without access including the pass-word "Enclave".

Vault Procedure

Vault procedure is the containment and termination of any vault resident containing foreign substances including FEV. The Pan immunity Virus project will be outlined in the government manual.

The vault is to open after 230 years of containment.

Well, welcome to the Vault 118 Sign up thread. Do please follow the rules given below


1. No godmodding other peoples characters
2. No, you do not have uber weapons such as tesla cannons or plasma rifles. Just laser pistols , and thats just security.
3. Security cannot kill other civilian characters unless I say so. This is only done when either someone is acting stupid or someone needs to leave in a manner that doesn't involve OOC comments as to conserve text space.

Bio: Alex is a teacher in Vault 118, who spent alot of time getting used to the students parents. So he knows a good portion of the people in the Vault. He has a problem trying to calm himself when in bad situations, which developed more and more over time being a teacher. Thanks to reading many textbooks, Alex knows a quite a bit about technology in the Vault, and spends his freetime reading the books he finds around the Vault.

Bio: Ex-military moved into the vault with his daughter Rachel (10yrs old) after many years as the hand to hand combat trainer for the army. He retired and hoped to find a peaceful life in the vault.

He dreams of one day learning all that there could be to learn about technology. Even the smallest of devices and gizmos makes him excited.

Misc: Wrench and a few How-To books for Engineering, Utility Key.

Bio: Harold is a descendant of the Webb family, a family known for their unpresidented wealth, power and deception. In the vault, he was raised by his parents to be a respected member of the vault community. The was well known within the vault as a well governed youth from a very young age, however, what he wasn't known for was his many acts of 'evil'. Perhaps evil is the wrong word, but there is certainly a link between Harold and the misfortunes of people in the vault; Both older and younger. Due to being trained in medicine by his father and how to talk properly to people by his mother, he was able to both manipulate people with words and chemicals. The great diaherra outbreak was caused by Harold himself, after messing with a variety of drugs, yet, nobody ever suspected him...

Clothing: Vault suit, uniform when on duty.

Weapons: 10MM Pistol

Bio: Upon finding out that he would become apart of the Vault Security team after taking his GOAT, Weston decided to put himself in shape. He asked other members of the team to help him learn the basics. Though he is not the most skilled shooter in the world, he knows usually what to do in situations, thanks to hours of review.

Weston is used to common fights between children in the vault. He has yet to actually kill anyone, but knows how to if ever such a grim order was giben.

Misc: Four cartridges of ammo when in uniform. Badge, screwdriver just in case pistol acts weird.

Household items: In the house, a good amount of food is in the fridge. His father has a spare key to the medical section lying about. Pictures, what not.

Biography: Zalphon has always been smart, and his knowledge of energy weapons is excellent. After joining Vault 118's Security Force, he picked up some first aid skills. He enjoys Herbert "Daring" Dashwood's Radio series, and hates ghouls. Before joining Vault 118's Security Force, he was a member of the vault gang. Now he has joined a safer career, and likes it a lot more. Vault 118 is his home, and he plans to keep it safe. If any one in the Vault should prove to be a hostility, he has no problems neutralizing the threat for the Overseer.

really nice Bio and all. But one problem. This is obviously a vault RP, and this takes place during F3 events, but all the characters have to be vault residents from birth. Make a quick edit, post it agiain, and your in.

Question, you say combat armor for the security? Do you mean actual combat armor, or vault security armor? And i'm going to post appearance, is that okay?

Bio: Like all of them, lived in the vault his entire life. He has made friends with some, and lives in an aparment with clothes on the floor, a radio, the bed never made, and copies of Guns & Bullets under the bed. His occupation is the vault diner fry-cook, and he couldn't love it more.

Apperance: Tall, around 6'4", blue eyes, brown short hair, and sports a five o'clock shadow.

Bio: Ryan's parents came all the way from Oklahoma when the government began urging people to prepare for a nuclear holocaust to get into a vault. Because of his southern decent, Ryan talks with a slight southern accent. Ryan Loves medicine, and helping people. It was no surprise when his GOAT results came back, telling him his future would be run from the med-bay.

Just played a flash game called City Invasion, where theres a city devastated by an earthquake, and people fight for control of it. Is it going to be like that, with two sides with small crappy weapons fight for survival?
