its hard building houses on houses.

has anyone else tried building second houses on top of existing houses in sanctuary? so far i have only managed to get one design to work, which plops a half leveled house with a entry level and a staircase up to a split hallway with two bedrooms..

its sitting on top of the house that the power armor workstation spawns in the garage of. the one with most of the benches and the settlement work bench.

anyways the first level is on the garage and there is a staircase into a second level above it that carries over the rest of the roof. because of the chimney its split in two up there..

i suppose i could make a third level that is more uniform but its already kind of cool as it is...

that's the problem with the sanctuary houses tho, its easy to set up those shack foundations up there but the chimney has a tendency to create a dead zone.

ahh but that's part of the fun in my opinion.. if i wanted a 100% blank canvas i would build in the theater huh? there is something great about managing to get that upper floor to work on top of the existing structure in sanctuary...
