38(extended)-Precisely this. I want my character to twist and turn as he falls down, be it on third or first person.

39-A settlement whose development is reliant on your actions, through quests and gold investments.

26. Being able to sit. Yeah, I'm not exactly a demanding kind of guy. Sometimes I tend to just stop playing and leave the game running as I read a book, and I like taking the occasional glance at the screen and see a warm, fuzzy tavern interior.

Having my character sitting there with the appropriate camera angle would please me in an almost demented manner.

you can sit, at least in oblivion

Yeah, I was thinking that, there is also the "sitting pants" in Morrowind although the implementation isn't great...

44. The return of "Named Soul Gems". Yes this is a repeat but it is important enough for a repeat

45. "Taxidermy" - If I can do random things like "cooking" than I should damn well be able to make a dragon rug carpet.

Fun post. props

27. Dispose of corpse

28. Lanterns

Definitely lanterns! i loved how in morrowind you could collect candles and put them in a house that you claimed for yourself. i had my place so full of lights hahah. oblivion lacked that option :( heres to a sky rim with lanterns!

Please people, remember the title of the thread. Dismembering limbs and some form of complicated agriculture (though may already be in the game) are not really 'little things'. Turning off quest arrows, is a little thing.

Haha. Any suggestion thread tends to go awry no matter what the OP places as the topic. Besides the topic is pretty open to suggestion. A "complex settlement questline" may seem rather insignificant to some and more important to others

47. Make Dungeon/ruin torches (wall torches and fire places) burn out and be able to light them up.

I would be fine like, investing into shops/towns/villages earning small discounts (similar to AC but much more diverse) Also i think Gold should alot harder to get, Oblivion it was like Hey you found "xxx" have 200 gold for each of the 20 you found.

You forgot to ask for animated hair and beards! (and of course a females ahem "chestpiece" since modders put a lot of effort into that in oblivion and it came out amazingly well in a non-perverted way.) how dare you ask for capes but not for hairs!!! =(

yes.

52. animated hairs and (maybe) beards!

i'm not asking for something dynamic with physics or anything (altho this would be cool) i just want the hair to move when i move, so it wont seem like i've taken a dip in a pool of hair gel.
They even have animated hairs in league of legends! (badly animated but animated enough for me!)

53. Difficulty selection similar to that of crysis (the first crysis) higher difficulty meant losing some of the luxuries of being a player playing a game adding realism in return. such as removing crosshair. enemies speaking korean, not being able to use a gun mounted on a truck you're driving without manning it yourself. (quest arrow maybe and crosshairs sound neat) or of course the BAD old difficulty slider that doesn't really work could be kept, while all these things would just be a part of our beloved hardcoe mode which we can toggle at any time.

thats funny you say that. i thought the money you would find in chest not very substantial. i ended up making my fortunes off the tomato and graqe fields around skingrad... sadly, money does not buy happiness.

An ya that kind of investing system would be very cool. they had that in oblivion where you could invest in shops. be nice if they expanded more on that idea.

54 - climbing! id like to be able to climb some of the cliff walls in skyrim!!

what i am pretty much referring to is the Blackwater bows that you can exchange in Layawin or just selling dedric weapons.

Also investing into a person that is poor but wants to try to start a business to make a living would let you "take chances" with your money it could be A. Successful full blooming expanding business that you get 25% of the profit from. or B. Horrid business or guy just took your money does nothing but spend it on skooma, and asks for more (reminds me of a previous elected official :sadvaultboy: )

Things like that would be interesting to implement if they haven't thought of it by now it won't be but maybe in the next game who knows. Just hope for some improvement in Investment at this point

For the prowlers like myself, a spell that allows the player to extinguish all the lights in an area. Such as lanterns and torches. This would hopefully shroud you in shadow and allow better sneakage. It would be great if done in a dungeon or inside a home.

A spell seems kind of overpowered, unless it was some sort of master of illusion type of thing, or if you could simply adjust the radius of the spell, and not have the spell extinguish whole room. Since this would be mainly for thief characters, I would rather have that you just activate the light to extinguish it. Maybe add some AI to that too. Just think, in a bandit dungeon, you extinguish a candle. 10 seconds later a bandit walks by, notices the candle is out, and attempts to re-light it while you await in the pitch black darkness right next to them.... :toughninja:

This isn't very simple.

56. A bookshelf that you can use to automatically place your books/other items on it, or at least make the placing of books way easier. It doesn't make sense to store books in a chest when you have a book shelf right next to it....

I don't know what number we're on now so I'll use bullets:

  • Light should shine through windows of buildings when it's daytime and not when it's dark, or maybe just some subtle moonlight.

  • Movable source of light. I like the idea of lanterns mentioned above, and maybe some movable candles like in Morrowind.
