I heard they nerfed the single shot jackal in the latest patch so now I'm wondering which shotgun is the best? I don't know if its lag but I almost never seem to get a 1 hit kill on an armoured enemy with the marshall even when I'm right up in their face I have to shoot then melee. Its just annoying when using a shotgun because when I go something like 25-7 I always know I could've done better with an assualt rifle. Any thoughts on the mike would also be helpful I need to start using something different.

I dunno but theres something about the jackal I just hate lol pump action is for men. The shotguns are just way too inconsistent when your the host it's great but other times it can take between 1-3 shots to kill a guy. Like I said I just go for 1 shot and a quick melee but then I think couldn't I have just done 2 melee hits?

The marshal is beast with nano recharge lvl 2 stealth enhance 3 point fire enhance I went flawless on downed bird over the weekend 11 and 0 a airstrike with the marshal my accuracy is 72% with the marshall I always get a 1 hit kill sometimes even when ppl r in armor mode I use a surrpresser on it I get like more then 20 kills noramllay and less then 10 deaths a match on crash site since I always go for kills hope this helps u out alot.

The one match I played yesterday using the Jackal (Instant Action) went a lot better than the time I used the Marshall. So I would say I prefer the Jackal. But I really haven't played more than one match with each so far, I prefer using the Assault Rifles and the SMG's.

marshall takes more practice to master , but i find it more accurate and powerful than the jackal , if i use the jackal i stay full auto .
marshall is superior for clearing a crash site where as the jackal runs out of ammo to easily even if you do use single fire .

Just started using the Marshall yesterday and I have over 500 kills with it now with a weapon accuracy over 75%.

In other words, Marshall is beast if you have the accuracy to keep it going. I use Energy Transfer III, Stealth Enhance III, and Mobility Enhance III and it feels great. Right after I started using it I got a Relentless on Wall Street out in the middle of the street in front of the spear. I would agree its absolutely amazing for clearing out an area, if you
have the accuracy and timing to in and out of stealth and pull of impeccably placed single shots.

Plus, oh god its so satisfying.

I have a fully decked out marshall and have alot of kills with it, but not because its a great weapon...its because i love shotties period. The marshall as well as other single shot weapons preform pending on connection. The marshall when host will kill up close with 1-2 shots or a shot then melee. On green its decent, but on yellow or red bar, you will shoot someone 4 times to put them down. The Marshall is difficult to use because in even though shotguns are superior CQC weapons naturally, in this game people move so fast that mising a shot with the marshall will spell death for you. The jackle is semi-auto and auto, which means it's alot more forgiving in this game. At the same time, it is decently strong and has nice accuracy. If connection wasn't an issue i would vote marshall, but for consistancy Ill go with the Jackal.
