1. SUMMARY
=======================================
This mods ads an african-american female to Megaton who will be your companion provided your karma is at least neutral. She will also comment on the main quest, Moira's Wasteland Survival quests, and helping Lucas Sims with the Megaton bomb.
Planned updates include adding in a family for her and some quests as well as a romance possibility for male players.
=======================================
2. FEATURES
=======================================
You can:
Change her bravery in combat.
Toggle essential on and off (default is on).
Have her guard an area (stay in one spot).
Have her wait in an area (move around and interact with the world).
Designate a new home and send her there.
Change her follow distance.
Change her gear.
=======================================
3. REQUIREMENTS
=======================================
Patch 1.07
=======================================
4. INSTALLATION
=======================================
Either extract the archive into your main FO3 folder and keep the folder layout in tact or extract each folder into its proper folder (meshes to meshes, sound to sound, etc.). The Jac_jasmine.esm file should be in the main FO3\data folder.
=======================================
5. Using the mod
=======================================
Check jac_jasmine.esm in your launcher of choice and visit her just inside the gates of Megaton.
=======================================
6. KNOWN ISSUES
=======================================
Jasmine was not written for the DLCs! If you don't want her to follow you into those areas (aside from Broken Steel), you'll have to ask her to wait before you enter them.
The home marker was a repurposed ash tray because I couldn't get the x-marker to move properly. There's a possibility that you will see the x-marker or hear it fall to the floor when you change your house. Scripting is not my forte, but I'll try to fix it if it's an issue.
Jasmine's starting equipment is set for NPC use only. If you try to take any of it, it will disappear.
I tried to give a default voice for each of Jasmine's greetings and different options, but I may have missed a few. If any are missing or if they sound inappropriate, please let me know the line so I can fix it.
=======================================
7. USE IN OTHER MODS
=======================================
I don't expect this to be used in any other mods, but credit would be nice.
=======================================
8. UNINSTALLATION
=======================================
Fire Jasmine and make a new save. Uncheck the mod and load the save, clicking okay past the error about a resource not being present. Make a new save and continue on. Delete the files and folders that came with the archive. Remove anything from her inventory that you want to keep before you fire her.
