Jaw is amazing weapon, but when you fire at close range missile goes throw surface(sometimes even in long range)
few examples, when i'm playing sniper, and i know enemy incoming, sometimes i don't have other choice then suicide, when enemy runs at me with his fists i simply fire at the ground so we would both die, but nothing happens, rocket doesn't explode like if it's simply gone. Maybe i'm missing something? (**** BS can happen at every range, but in close range it's sure going to miss)

Explosive weapons will never detonate within range of you, the only weapon I have managed to kill myself with is the swarmer, but those may have a wider damage range.
It's mentioned on a tip somewhere.

The rocket/grenade won't arm itself before a certain time, so if you shoot at your feet you won't blow up.
