There is a file you may wanna download, as the game has problems for some on W8.1 as well.

• Go to the GLDirect page on SourceForge. Download gldirect5_opensource.zip. http://sourceforge.net/projects/gldirect/

• Extract the contents. Go to the gldirect5\bin\release folder.

• Copy opengl32.dll to your GameData folder.

can you expand on "doesn't work"? are you getting an error code? black screen? Soft locking?
