Jeremy, you nailed it

The music is amazing. That new HD game-play we have... during part one of that, when dovah gets on the horse and goes up the mountain road... dat music.
Copying the data/music folder onto my phone (Sony Ericsson with that nifty walkman software) onto my phone when it gets out.

I also noticed when dovah approaches those giants and the mammoths, there's a little rework of an old oblivion tune in there... I like it.
Music is so important to me in games and as I said... looks like Jeremy has nailed it again, great job man.

Indeed. It's probably the best soundtrack I've ever heard, or a very close 2nd place.

It's epic, beautiful, atmospheric, emotional, stunning...
All it can ever be :)

Yep, Soule did it again. Wouldn't want any other composer for this series. :D

He did a great job on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5K7dfP3QlS4 as well.

Yes great music, and no not oblivion. That is Silt Sunrise from Morrowind.

Brilliant is all I have to add to this. That, and I really hope I can purchase the soundtrack at some point.

EDIT: Addendum - I hope they compile a box set containing all music from Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim that comes in a beautifully crafted, fantasy looking box. Now that I would pay money for. The intro song in Oblivion is slightly different than the main theme and is so amazing and for the life of me I can't find just a version without Sir Patrick's voice over.

Really? I recognized it from oblivion. Never really played morrowind though, never got into it... maybe its a tune that was reworked into oblivion from morrowind and then reworked again into skyrim.

Yes, the music is lovely, the Morrowind music has a special place in my heart, but this is either equal or a close second.

Best music ever. The part when he leaves Riverwood to where he dismounts the horse is my favorite.

I don't recall something like that in Oblivion, but they do tend to blend together I guess.

I was pretty underwhelmed with Soule's work in Morrowind and Oblivion, but this time it's really working for me. Some of the best game music I've ever heard.

For all the complaining I hear about various aspects of the game I have yet to hear one negative thing said about the sound design of the game. The music is amazing and the sound effects are all just fantastic.

Actually, its Morrowind tune on part 3. And its not reworked at all...probably they didnt want to spoil too much music and just used Morrowind music.

I hope that isn't true. But I was planning on adding all of Oblivion and Morrowind's sound files to the music folder of Skyrim anyways.

Yes he reworked it a little for Oblivion but the music in the video is most purely representative of the music from Morrowind.
