hey all quick question, would anyone be opposed to me making the unleveled plugins reliant on TIE? that way everything is unleveled and i dont have to go through every leveled list and change everything and create and incompatibility with TIE

Hey John you mean as an optional plugin, beside the FCOM-friendly leveled lists' one?

If so, I think it's a great idea as TIE should anyway be the mod of choice for players looking for an unleveled playing experience.

I only know two other mods that offer unleveled lists - an older mod from M.O.E. and WAC which you know about already.

I've no issue with it and unless another unleveled overhaul comes along TIE will likely be the main one.

I'm glad you are keeping it optional John. I don't use TIE.

Yeah sorry - it is way old for Oblivion mods and basically there are two pluggins - one that undermines item leveling and another that undermines creature/encounter leveling.

Only vanilla and no stat adjustments. and no SI.

Sothis MOE is an "Overhaul prototype".... (uploaded in 14 november 2006 for the first time) Never heard of it before.

John, thanks for keep working on this mod, it is awesome. Waiting for the next update.
I'm only surprised it is not having much notoriety on the Nexus, I was sure it would end in the Nexus main page for weeks...

It needs advertising and tasty screenshots with scantily clad cartoon women (always popular on Nexus) and/or the weapons with black backgrounds like StarX and Insanity use as if the product were liqueur or a car .... to appeal to the mod users who are looking for quality in their fantasy fighting gear.

Yeah MOE was way back - maybe only the start of OOO and Frans back then - Postal Dude went on to work on a TC for Morrowind in Oblivion - again another infamous not done project. There are some interesting and cool plugins in MOE though.

glad your enjoying! next update should come in a week or two, just have to finish the unleveled plugins and look into Ysne's missing texture, its fine in mine for whatever reason
and i dont mind not being front page, i mean 8 endorsemants is more endorsemants than my previous files ever got :P would always be a pleasant surprise though

Maybe you are interested in http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=25332. Looks nice.
Oh, and remember that meteoric iron weapons are already included in OOO and some contents may overlap. Maybe in the OOO plugin you can remove them to avoid this. Just to not create confusion.

EDIT: I don't know if it has been proposed before, but what do you think about http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15943?

Just thought I'd mention, that I just started a new game, and saw that Captain Renault's weapon was missing a mesh. Tracked it down to this mod. In case it matters, I downloaded it from Dropbox, and tried a second time with the hotfix on TESNexus. Can post the load order if that helps.

The Renault's Akaviri katana is changed to a katana+wakizashi visual. I see it in my game, so the only think that comes in mind is that you failed to install.
Try uninstalling it completely, then reinstall it from the Nexus. Download meshes, textures1, textures2, plugins and hotfix 1.2 and see if it works. I downloaded from there and the meshes were in their place

OK, will do. Could it be a problem with the Dropbox download, though? Dunno how the TESNexus downloads work, but all the data files are in a single BSA in the Dropbox download.

That's why you have missing meshes, then. The problem is the BSA in the dropbox, so you'd better download from the Nexus. It works for shure.

Sages mod has been requested multiple times and i give the same response each time. Most of that mod is included in vvardenfel imports. trollbone armor, stahrim armor, nordic mail armor, bear fur and wolf fur armor are all included with it. There is a few things in it that VI doesnt use, the deer skin suit and a few weapon sets which i will grab if i can. I've seen TDA Armory before, but to me its way to unique to use straight up. I might be able to use the evil looking armor as necromancer armor but the white armor i cant think of ny uses. Than again theres legalities too, the author said he's "hell to contact" so i doubt i can ahold of him to redistribute his things. I will try though :)

sounds like the BSA aint registering, try adding it to the .ini file in the My Games/Oblivion folder. If that doesnt work, just unpack the archive.

the BSA works fine, its just not being registered for whatever reason. unpacking or adding to the .ini should make it work

No, he says HE is hard to contact, but for legalities you should ask to the original creator of this mod as said in the mod's page:
Licensing/Legal
===============

I defer to the original author all licensing issues.

thank you good sir! didnt realize that wasnt the original! i pm'ed him so we'll see what he has to say. i also sent sage a msg to see if i could get permission for the weapons and deerskin suit i was missing. seems someone has thumbed it down on the nexus, suppose it was too much to ask for people to click more than one file eh?
