Would it be lore-friendly? I don't know much about SI as I've never been there (in 4 years of playing Oblivion!!). If the lore is in place, I don't have a problem...I'll ask in the lore section.

Which is the newest version? TESAlliance or TES Nexus? I'm not sure if I can still use the BSA or if I should download the meshes and textures from TES Nexus.

Also, is this MOBS compatible, and if not what's the odds of getting a patch?

[Edit] Sorry, somehow I missed it in the readme, it says they are "between vanilla and omobs." So I'm guessing you probably don't want to take the trouble to boost them up to normal MOBS levels, not that I'd blame you.


The Nexus is the most up-to-date. The truth is i dont know how to balance to MOBS stats, otherwise i would.

Thats what i was rackin on, is it lore-friendly? i went through when i added the daedric crescent, i couldnt decide whether it would go against lore. i decided there was enough time for more to be made since battle spire but they're very very uncommon in game. For the armors though, i may just make an optional plugin add-on for them. and no i hadnt seen that thx :)

I know I can make my own if I want but was there a logic in having loose files instead of a BSA?

Then the issue with the two previous plugins that required KOTN - was that issue removed or was the armors removed?

+1 on more weapons and armors, but not if it takes away from adding the creatures.

[edit] and what does the Mannimarco Revisited Patch do exactly that it requires a mod slot for. I have it installed, but uncertain of how necessary the patch is. ... checking edit ... dialogue topics ... what? BOSS has Mannimarco loading after JLLO anyway. Maybe a tag could resolve instead?


The nexus has loose files because of its file size constraint. I had BSA's before but i couldnt get them to work in game at all, no matter what i did. The KOTN plugins are gone, they moved into a completely separate mod found http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=33385 The Mannimarco patch is for users using mannimarco revisted. I hadnt thought of bash tags before though, i might remove it and update to use bash tags instead to resolve the conflict. But originally it was included for users who werent using bash. and the add-on was planned before creatures so im doing it before the creatures one, since there wont be a gigantic amount of new items to add in.

I could possibly see allowing Amber and Madness armor on SI boss leveled lists only. The thinking would be that bosses are strong enough that they might have acquired the necessary Amber or Madness Ore, and might have talked Cutter and Dumog into creating the armor.
Personally I wouldn't recommend adding all 12 versions of each piece of armor though - probably just the Perfect Amber/Madness level, or create a custom level...

Or, the plugin option works :)

thats what i was planning on, making a copy of the perfect amber and madness and just calling it madness and amber items.

im not sure what last version of JLLO I had since I noticed you have some new stuff uploaded on nexus, but before I installed FCOM i was noticing sometimes bandits would have an abnormal amount of loot like 3 pairs of pants and 2 chest pieces etc... may try downloading your new version and see how it goes with FCOM. :D great work!

altho im a little concerned with FCOM i may end up with 1247190481 items dropping from one NPC. :P

I suggest http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barghest, or Whist Hounds, though these are considered to be black usually.

By the way, since I installed I'm getting faded wraith summons wielding the unholy sword of WTF, I'm a missing mesh. Does this add any swords to the leveled lists that spawn their weapons, or should I look elsewhere for the guilty mod.

Is there a way to turn down the percentage chance of getting the JeLLO armors? I am lvl 15, and I was able to get almost a full set of chitin, netch, vvardenfell, bonemold and nordic mail from a fight with about 10-15 bandits/marauders near Pell's gate!

Also, the prices of these items are very low? Any way to bump these up, albeit slightly to make them worth it too?

EDIT: I saw a purple long line extending from a bonemold cuirass on an NPC- a really long line that extended all over the screen and stretched as the NPC moved. As soon as I unequipped from the NPC, the purple line disappeared. Something awry I presume...

Now this is strange! any chances of a pic? I use bonemold quite a bit and havent had this issue!

I found that last night actually, my assasin char found some on a dead npc and i found it was from this.



Once i get all the bugs fixed from the next few days or so(i presume more will be found) i will release a hotfix for this that will fix all outstanding bugs

I can get you a load list when I get home from work, but sadly not a form id report since the faded wraiths kind of blindsided me and got me killed very quickly. They were also summoned so will the form finder separate the item from the creature while it is still alive?

hmmm you might be sol on that one, I was goin to suggest kill command, but you can't loot the summon. Perhaps the construction set is called for here. Just make quick edit of 10 or so of those wraiths into the imperial city and kill them, then find out what it was and deactivate your wraith mod. (Just my reccomendation, there are probably 50 better ways to do it)

yup i have. let me ask you something have you merged ionis's mod straight in without changing the leveled lists names or items names? if you havent we have a problem then, but luckily its fixable.

I can get you a load list when I get home from work, but sadly not a form id report since the faded wraiths kind of blindsided me and got me killed very quickly. They were also summoned so will the form finder separate the item from the creature while it is still alive?


hmm try this. toggle god mode and go where they are. then you should be able to get a formid finder report. you could also try toggle ai(sry i forget the console code)

looks a little outa whack... why is streamline so high? download the latest BOSS masterlist and sort the unrecognized by hand, i can assist if ya need help. it might be a mithril or orcish weapon.

I haven't found any missing meshes or icons yet, but I will report if/when I do with ID finder.

This is actually sorted with the lastest BOSS masterlist, so Streamline is that high since BOSS wants it there.

You say it looks a little out of whack. Did you spot any other strange thing except Streamline?

the latest one sets streamline below the bashed patch for me... do you have lock times disabled? also FCOM_UnoficialFranArmorAddon.esp looks a little low to me. and shouldn't bettercities.esp load with the rest of the better cities plugins? that was mainly the things that caught my eye. maybe im wrong though, anyone else care to chime in?

The latest version of BOSS does switch alot of mods around, and my Streamline loads rather early now as well (It threw me off at first, but I have to admit my game is still running smooth as silk)

Fixed for oversights and clarity

It does appear that the new ML moves Streamline up into a category called 'loadorder independent'... who knew!?

i just checked in with the BOSS team, they did move it up. seems i was mistaken. disregard my LO suggestions then. anyways if you can i really need that FormID FInder report, it'll tell me everything

You really ought to check out the use of the userlist feature in the new BOSS - it is the simplest way to add overrides and additions to a load order. In fact amazingly simple. Here is one userlist I use:

Just add mods like this to a simple txt file and keep in BOSS folder. If a mod from it is not installed then it just skips it. Much simpler than Surazal's BOSS manager. It does not update your masterlist but rather reads this list of exceptions at execution and then adds them after reading the masterlist.
