Johnny Cash In Fallout

Yeah, I've been listening to a lot of Cash recently, and can't help but notice that the songs he composed are perfect for this series. What are your opinions concerning Cash in Fallout?

Of course, Elvis should be thrown in too, I've heard that a million times over.

I may be wrong but I think alot of his signature songs were in the 60's, despite his career starting in the 50's. Those eras are pretty much the same so I say "What the heck!" :D I can totally see "25 minuets to go" playing while walking the wasteland.

Johnny Cash can be in the Fallout Universe since he was born in 1932 and started producing music in the 1950s. There is no doubt that his early music can be in Fallout with no trouble at all. His later stuff however most likely wouldn't. Such as his cover of the Nine Inch Nails song "Hurt." But yeah "Cry! Cry! Cry!" and "I Walk the Line," no problem.

"I Walk the Line" would have been awesome for New Vegas.

Only some of his early music would fit with the time period used in New Vegas. As for Elvis, I think the lack of any of his music used for The Kings indicates the Presley estate wasn't interested.

I am sure they were interested. But Bethesda wasn't interested in paying truck loads of cash just to use his music.

Folson Prison Blues for the Powder Gangers! Recorded in 1955.

It would have been good.
