"We were offered a quest to join the Imperial Legion here though, so it’s not all doom and gloom." Great news I think!

FINALY! Biggest disappointment for me in oblivion was the imperial legion not being joinable. This had made the game for me

There is a rebel faction you can join called the Stormcloaks.

There is a rebel faction you can join called the Stormcloaks.

I don't really want to join the legion or the stormcloaks, but I REALLY want to bring punishment and pennance to The Dark Brotherhood, and The Legion might be the only real game path to doing that.

Honestly, I'm doubting the validity of this claim.
I think he's just confused, and it was the rebellion he could join. They said only FOUR factions, and we already know what 4 factions there are. The Legion isn't one of those factions. :shrug:

Yes we do! Joining the Imperial Legion grants you psychic powers and triples your attack damage and health bar size. You would have to be an idiot to join the rebels! They don't even have telepathy!

I liked the 'cleared' tags that will allow you to tell the difference between a place you just found and a place you have explored and looted.
