I think it would be cool if you could join the Military in Skyrim. Or join the City Gaurd. And I've heard that there is some kind of Civil War going on, so I think it would work. What do you think?

Obviously you could join the imperial legion in Morrowind so perhaps that's something they'll reintroduce. Having never read the infernal city I dont know if Skyrim was one of the provinces which seceded from the empire so perhaps if you can join the army then their quests will involve the legions attempts to maintain/ reimpose imperial control within Skyrim. If that was the case theres a possibility that they could play a central role in the main storyline as you could choose to side with either the imperials or you could attempt to unite the local Nordic factions and assert Skyrim's independence.

Well in Oblivion, you kind of indirectly join the Imperial Guard by becoming the Champion of Cyrodill (the Imperial Dragon Armor legitimizes it, considering only Emperors have worn it). But definitely, I enjoyed doing the long, grueling, and exciting Imperial Guard quest in Morrowind to become the one and only Knight of the Imperial Dragon! Bring back factions, bring back choice, bring back TES!

I just want more joinable, and expanded factions. The more factiobs there are, the higher replay value for me. Plus it really helps with roleplaying.
