Joshua Graham

We really don't know much about him other than his general appearance and his history with the Legion. What do you think he'll be like if he does make an appearance? We know he's a bad man, but what do you think his general personality will be? And how do you think Obsidian will handle his grudge with the Legion considering the Legion is a joinable group? Heck, will he even be alive?

he was beaten, burned, and threw down the grand canyon, he is most likely dead because that is a very tall free fall and even if you live you will die from being on fire, you survive that, your wounds would be full of dirt from the fall and you would die from gangrene, now we will go into the possible theory of Navajo natives in the canyon and they helped him with the medicine, that is a very far fetched idea and so I do not think he will come back anytime soon/ever

Joshua Graham is exactly what the next DLC is about.

Chief Hanlon informed me that 1st Recon confirmed his death... over 5 times. I imagine being thrown off Hoover Canyon* would be an ankle sprain for him, the fire a mild sunburn.

The Burned Man walks.

He survived being set on fire and chucked into the Grand Canyon , plus being Hanged in Van Buren. Chances are he's still alive. And I expect him to look like Darkman. Covered in bandages, and what flesh you can see is horribly burned.

Personality wise, going by from what was going to be in Van Buren, I expect him to be an apsolute psychopath. He was a horrific, murdering rapist in Van Buren, and having him as anything less would be kinda' lame IMO.

He may not be deformed at all -- he was covered in pitch, set aflame and then thrown into the canyon. There's a river down there -- if he hit the water he may have needed little more than a few stims, some sleep and a lot of Abraxo to get back in shape. 'Burned man' doesn't necessarily mean scarred; it could just be referring to his being set on fire.

It's important to note, though, that the Grand canyon is very wide and the Colorado rarely comes close to the rim -- chances are, unless they used a catapult, he'd have died from hitting the cliff faces on the way down.

Y'know what really takes the fierceness out of his name? Joshua Graham-cracker.

However, on topic, I am completely stumped on how the story will go. Will we learn more about Legion? Will we fight The Burned man? Will The Burned man fight Ulysses? Who knows. All we know is that it should be one kick-ass add-on.

Pretty safe to assume Graham's alive as Obsidian went out of their way to include that "five confirmed deaths" bit in Hanlon's dialogue. According to a bit more of info from Chief Hanlon, Graham was a generally mediocre tactician/strategist yet he possessed "menace" and immortality. TBH it's likely just a boss character with a juiced up PHOENIX Monocyte Breeder.

Oh god yeah. I hate it when someone is introduced as a monstrous bad ass, and they turn wimpy... Like Darth Vader.

Not going to happen with this guy if they stay true to how he was going to be portrayed in Van Buren; there's a reason that everyone was going to be afraid of him in that game.

I was in Primm and some NCR outcasts talked about running away to New Canaan in order to avoid the NCR and the Legion... It might seem an appropriate place for outcasts such as Joshua Graham

As bad as he sounds i shall look foward to putting a bullet right between his eyes, if you want something done right do it yourself, so my courier will have to step in and again save the Mohave from itself.

In Van Buren he was really evil, he [censored] women, robbed and butchered people and everyone hated him but they feared him because he seemed invincible.

I hope there is a flashback to show how he failed at hoover dam and what went wrong. He's pretty badass for a former mormon missionary thats for sure.

I also think the courier has some relation to Graham they both survived drastic condition's of being shot and coming back to life I think the reason to why the courier survived being shot in the head will be explained in honest hearts.

Lol and a random idea in my head popped up that maybe Joshua Graham has some kind of super heart kinda like Chelio's on Crank.. Thats how he keeps surviving being shot and burned etc. Also the title "Honest Hearts" could be a reference to this. (Just an idea).

Well let's just say this, I hope that the skin you can see on him actually looks burned. I mean, those burned bodies by the Tribal Village looked like they were just lying out in the sun for too long.

And to continue the vague Jason Statham connection, he reminds me of Boris the Blade in Snatch. My guess is he has some kind of FEV mutation that keeps his human appearance rather than yellow-green skin, but gives him strength, endurance and stature.

I'm guessing Honest Hearts will have something to do with Joshua Graham getting revenge on something, and he probably sends you around to do his dirty deeds (or else the explosive collar on your neck will blow up Mwhahaha! ...ahem). If you're beaten, set on fire, and then get thrown down a canyon you don't exactly shrug it off.

We know he's a bad man, but what do you think his general personality will be?

Angry.

Bandages covering him. He will hate everyone and everyone will hate him. You'll probably have to kill most tribals if he walks with you. Or they will cower in fear.
Or if they pull a April fools prank and make him seem like a decent guy once you meet him and that everyone had just made a bunch of stories about. That would ruin it though.
