I recently installed the Journal Enhanced mod (for those of you who don't know, it's a Morrowind Enhanced mod that lets you write your own journal entries) and I've been getting an odd problem:

Whenever I write an entry, the game acts like it worked just fine for about 3 seconds and then the game CTDs. This happens with and without my other mods, so those aren't the problem. I'm using the (as far as I know) latest versions of Morrowind Enhanced and Journal Enhanced. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, how did you resolve it?

What is the version of MWE that you're using?

Also, are you using MWSE at the same time, by any chance?

MWE is version 1.6
I'm running Morrowind Graphics extender at the same time, so the internal MWSE in that is running.

Using MGE could very well be the problem. Some systems can't seem to run both at the same time for some reason I have not yet determined.

Also, you do have MWE_Base.esp installed and checked, right? Are any other MWE mods working properly?

I have it installed and checked, yes. This is the only MWE based mod I'm using. I'll try disabling MGE's internal MWSE version, but I don't know how well that'll work.

M'Ok, I'll give it a shot: Do you have the document Journal.htm in your Morrowind folder, not Data Files. This is where your journal entries are registered. Be sure it's not "read only" or something like that. That's all I can think of.
Oh, try reinstall.

- On a side note, if you happen to fix this, you might be interested by Writing Enhanced too. Works the same way but instead you can write on blank papers and books.

The Journal.htm file is in my Morrowind directory, it's not set to read only, and I have granted myself full control over it. Same error. I have also reinstalled the mod on many occasions.
