I find myself collecting quests that I don't want to (or can't) complete right away. I find the description of the miscellaneous quests in the journal to be inadequate for refreshing my memory about the quest. For example, it will only say Bring x to y. I have to search on the internet to find out who and where the quest giver is. Am I overlooking some way to get more information in-game?

Yes, write down the details of the quest as you are given it in a notebook. It's what we used to do in RPGs before we had a Compass pointing to where the quest stage is located.

I'm going to start doing this and remove quest markers.

I take and do misc quests as I recieve them. I don't wait until later.
