So a little bit ago, I believe it was during Quakecon, it was reported that one of our possible companions is a lady named "Piper" and that she is a reporter. What I do not remember is if it was ever confirmed if she was a newspaper reporter, radio, or something else. So, I have 3 questions.
1. Does anybody know what medium Piper is a reporter for?
2. Would this organization be just like Galaxy News in F3 or Radio New Vegas, or something more?
3. If something more, what do you guys/gals see it working?

I think Quakecon folks said paper because she said it in her dialogue, as for purpose, well the paper will most likely cover as similar role as the,radio stations did in 3/NV, covering major events of the player.

I would not either be surprised that if there is companion quests, hers will be helping her cover stories out in the wasteland.

I'm going to go with news paper. Bethesda likes Boston for its history. Some of the earliest publications in the US were in Boston. One was even run by Ben Franklin's brother, James.

When I seen the title of this topic I was thinking of the reporter that I punch in the mass effect games. Not hire as a company like that bird in Mass Effect 3.

One or two of my play though in mass effect 3, I gave her a cold shoulder.

By Cthulhu, I hope Piper isn't as annoying as that lady! I enjoyed putting her in her place from Mass Effect through Mass Effect 3.

Miss Al-Jilani is annoying, but if you respond to her nicely in 3, you actually win her over and she becomes a War Asset.

Yeah, I think that's what I did. I did the Paragon options for ME and ME2 and when you do it for ME3 she's a war asset, if I'm not mistaken.

I bet she's gonna be the new Moira. Which is good because Moira was more fleshed out than any of your companions .

No, Moira would just move to Underworld. She would survive the blast. She is annoying that way.

But she would certainly be a little less fleshed out after the bomb detonates

Oh dear God. If Piper is Fallout 4's Moira then in my book she has two strikes against her already. Moira was so annoying in 3 that I often fantasized about shooting her and her guard in the face with the Terrible Shotgun, and I hate the character "Piper" in "Orange is the New Black" on Netflix. Hopefully BGS will release that Quakecon footage before Nov 10 so we can see her before we play.

I have a feeling that we'll see this in the next few days. Most likely on Thursday or Friday.

Not real sure about that. I think the next few weeks will get us the rest of the SPECIAL videos. If they keep with the current release schedule for those videos, that will give us just under two weeks until release day, and then maybe the Quakecon video will be released the week after the Luck video. After that I expect nothing except promotion until release day.

We've seen a number of additional videos released alongside the SPECIAL series, and so it would make sense if this was put out sooner rather than later. But whenever they plan to show us the footage, I can't believe there are only 36 days left until release!

I too fantasize about Moria, and our little wasteland junk shop, that we run together, supplying FOV's (thats Fresh Out of Vault) with gear and sending them to there doom for giggles.

On Piper, I read she has a hat (this might drive me nuts if I can not take the damn thing off (looking at you ugly cowboy hat and grime covered hood), YES I do the paper doll thing, and am man enough to admit it so what, Hehehe.

Also I really hope she is more of a Hudsvcker Proxy type newsgal (it is a movie and no its not dirty) than a tri-corner bell ringing "hear ye hear ye" type

The impression I got from the description is like early to mid 20th century "Newsie" type.
