I love how the three newest shots are the ones leading the polls That Knuckleduster orc did look pretty damn awesome though, I think he is my second favourite screen after IGN's male Dunmer (noone can top that dude yet).

These Dark Elves have looked really good, but ugly...if that even makes sense?

I hope I'm not the only good looking Dark Elf in Skyrim like I was in OB. Well, actually there was this one Dunmer girl, but I had to kill her....

Why are people freaking out about the Dunmer looking more unique? What's wrong with YOU, asketh I. They're different and distinctive in a way that suits their race. They'd also have different standards of beauty, so what looks odd to you might be beautiful to them. More personality, more diversity, more life in the world. Deal with it.

Yes, but so are all the humans in Nirn. All Alien to us anyway. All the same, the Elves are related to humans, and are supposed to be more beautiful in terms of symmetry and grace, not more deformed looking. Alien does not = troll. Lol.

Although it's not confirmed, I believe the guy getting stabbed in the stomach in the trailer is an Imperial. It's the scene with the nirnroot.

All the races are looking really good, I'd say. A lot of diversity which points to a lot of customization. Now the NPC's from Oblivion, those were from another planet, lol.

Dunmer were cursed by Azura, turned their skin color to ash and their eyes red and made them ugly. You'd probably prefer Altmer.

In regards to the HARD looking Dunmer woman, I understand people saying that the Elves should look distinctive. But they shouldn't be unattractive. The Rip Ten male Bosmer for example, has features that mark him as different from a normal Human. His look would be somewhat atypical and even slightly alien, but still very elegant and symmetrical. Not so the Dunmer we have seen. The male Dunmer from the demo looks like a ghoul, while the female Dunmer looks like a dark skinned, MALE Neanderthal.

The male Bosmer is prettier than the female Dunmer. . . . that's not right! That s*@+ is WRONG! And the answer is NOT to make the male Bosmer more unattractive. That Dunmer woman needs some brow reconstruction.

That's not true. Neanderthals were short and stocky.

The female dunmer looks out of place because Bethesda put character shots into scenes themselves as stated.

Reiner said his Khajiit screen where he's in that bedroom/house is where his demo ended. He said Beth just loaded his last save.

Why does that new argonian lady look a little cute? I am in no way a furry or anything I kind of just wanna give her a little hug and send her on her way to slay dragons and save Tamriel.

You have a point, but I wouldn't come to any conclusion as these screens are only showing us a sample of what someone can do with the creation editor or whatever.... I have much faith that we can make an attractive Dunmer woman if we want to.

Here's my observation of the Dunmer.

When I first saw the first screen, I thought the guy looked like some Middle-Eastern Assassin.
When I saw the 2nd pick I thought the guy looked a lot like the Dunmer from Morrowind, but then my bro said he looked almost like a goblin. I agreed.
With this pick, I think the woman looks possessed or like some really freaky zombie.
Now, that first Bosmer screen really looked like a Dunmer to me, but that was because the creator wanted him to look that way.

Based off of this small evidence, I can assume that there will be a lot of customization and that we can make our character look however we want them to.

Just wait until you hear her sixy new voice coming from the group of 70 actors.

Thing is, all three Dunmer have that really unattractive, overly-pronounced brow.

As many have said, the Dunmer are supposed to look cursed and ugly, the Bosmer are forest-dwelling cannibals and the Altmer are the pretty ones. The first two have definitely come true, and I think Beth will do the Altmer justice as well.

Can't wait! It would be kind of cool if gamesas made the journalist characetrs into NPC's. Although that won't happen it would be cool if I saw that cute little hooded argonian lady stalking a dungeon and stopped her to discuss the finer points of fighting draugr or got drunk at a tavern then started a brawl with every other patron. A man can dream though....a man can dream :sleep2:

Could just be their default eyebrow. Remember, these journalist only had about an hour.

I like it take away the heavy brow and people would be saying dunmer look to much like the bosmer like they were before this pick.The brow is much less pronounced in the other shots so id say that was a chocie they look distinct but can look similar and its good.

Did I not just say I'm all for different looking characters? You can make something look interesting and unusual without making their eyebrow muscles taking up most of their face.
