Journalist Character Screens: Quakecon, London, Gamescom?

Post » Thu Aug 18, 2011 3:07 pm

huh....the dunmer woman actually looks consistent with the weathered, slightly alien look of the males without looking like the same head with the jaw, chin and age sliders set lower ala oblivion.

though... those soulless black eyes make them look like actual aliens. i guess the journalist was itching to see a dark elf with eyes that arent red, but seriously bethesda, the black voids of death are a creepy choice of eye to make available to the already harsh and angry looking dunmer.

at any rate, i can see from what little we can glean from the screens that the character creator is at least a fair bit more powerful than oblivions, and with the much greater distinction weve seen between the races, i cant wait to create 20 characters of every gender of every race just because i can

Why would Bootysweat know that? Edit: wait... I think you mean recoloring the pic... i think.

The hooded Argonian looks beyond amazing...

I'll lighten it up when a high-res is released

Edit: wrong quote lol

Whoa, it seems Lizzle-Bob's popularity was short-lived! Now the other lizard lady has taken over the reigns in this forum

You're going to be passing out soon. They are only showing the characters that journalist created, so far that hasn't included altmer, imperial or breton. Not much anyone can do until Beth decides to show more.

You make a good point - the writer of the Machinima article doesn't mention Quakecon at all, so perhaps he was part of the group in London.

"At a recent hands on event for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Bethesda gave us a chance to mess around with the game’s character creator.."

If that turns out to be the case, then we can expect to see more screens from the London journalists.

gamescom demo isnt hands on. They just watched Pete Hines play the demo. So im sure hes just referring to quakecons event.

Yes, I know this.

I was referring to the London hands-on event, not Gamescom.

Gamescom is in Germany. For whatever reason, Beth isn't having a hands on demo there for the press like they did at QuakeCon and whatever event they had in London.
