I think what the OP means is that they glitched their way out of the boundaries of the game map, and is going on forever in a certain direction.

Either that or, is on a never-ending road-trip in real life, should be clarified, but that's what I think..

for me it was the glitch. there was a couple of random wastelanders that were
sandbagged.. not much else.

Wow, they actually have Wastelanders spawning outside the boundaries? Were there enemies too?

didn't see any enemy's persay.. when I talkd to them the only
dialog was " I have to go". i should have taken screenshots.

keep in mind I have MMM and FWE so that may account for the
encounters.

I've been to the eastern boundaries of the map. It's nothing but flat land similar to the south.

This is easy enough to do on the PC with a mod that removes the borders. It was the same way with Oblivion. There is nothing to really find outside the borders of the vanilla map however, because obviously the creators did not place any spawn points, loot, objects, etc... It is handy for navigating your way around the edges of the vanilla map however, as you do not run into that invisible force field that prevents you from going any further.
