Journey to the East (fan fiction)

Post » Tue Aug 26, 2014 11:47 am

So, I am writing a Morrowind fan fiction! I know, there are a LOT of Morrowind fan fictions out there, some very well-written, a good bit of them following the main quest line, but please bear with me. This is about a female Khajiit named Adanji, written in third-person limited POV. It will follow both the main quest and (a slightly altered) Thieves Guild quest line (more emphasis on rivalry with Camonna Tong). I am changing as much of the dialogue as I can without breaking the feel of the original game, and trying to create depth in characters that had none. I'm also trying to avoid letting Adanji do absolutely every quest and have no intentions of making her the over-powered, god-modded leader of everything by the end. I am hoping this is well written enough, with enough changed dialogue and character, that it could hold your interest. I'm writing it in such a way that (hopefully) even those who have never touched Morrowind will be able to enjoy it.

I would love to have constructive criticism on this.

I shall offer three links, so you might choose which format you prefer:

Warning: There are some references to other games and easter eggs, but I try to be subtle about them and not go overboard. Also, I would put this at a hard T rating for violonce, mild gore, drug/alcohol references, and suggestive themes. For those of you who are concerned, do not worry, there is no 'furry' romance (beyond passing references to one couple).
