Journey to Yokuda

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 3:37 am

The Oblivion crisis has just ended. The Empire is in turmoil, and High Chanceller Ocato needed to find a way to increase the people's morale to avoid revolt. It crossed his mind that exploring another continent may be a great way to do this. Thinking, he chose one. Yokuda. Did anything survive the Redguard's devastating war? They would soon find out. He chose from the best of Imperial City, and later that week they met on an Anvil ship. Crowds cheered them on a they left. After a couple of weeks, the captain yelled, "There it is! Yokuda is in our sights!". Indeed it was. The large islands made an outline across the ocean's horizon, as detail of the place came into sight...

You will play as the crew, as they explore the unknown of the wastes. You know the rules. I will for the most part allow anything except the following: no ridiculous crap, leave that for the Inn threads, and no Uber characters either without my permission. Please PM me with your character's info, I will add it to the below post. No need to add it to your post, but if you rally want to go ahead. Please use the same format as I did.

I will make it clear in this post when we have enough people to start, and when we have enough people period. We may begin!

Faelnor pulled out his eyeglass and observed the land. He could se nothing special, only what to expect: craters from the redguards' nuclear swords and a barren landscape. "Which island are we looking at?" asked one of the crewmembers.

"Judging from our lateral position and the shape of this island as documented so many years ago, I'd say Akos Kasaz," said Faelnor.

They neared the barrens, and pulled anchor. "Prepare yourselves, we're taking the rowboats out there in a few minutes," yelled Faelnor. As the crew busied themselves, Faelnor took out his eyeglass one more time before heading into his room to ready up. He observed one of the craters... wait? Did something move? He focused on the edge of the crater. He thought he saw an incredibly tiny shadow reclude back into the depths of the crater, but he saw nothing now. He probably imagined it. Faelnor hurried back into his headquaters and started packing his rucksack.
