Jurgen Windcaller and Sovngarde

That's a better explanation for your rebuttal, than to simply say "Beth soft got it wrong is a weak argument.

I thought the statement was self explanatory at the time, so I didn't feel the need to delve into it further.

I could easily say Jurgen Windcaller was killed by one of the Tongues who felt betrayed by Jurgen Windcaller using the Dragonblood to cheat in the battle over the proper use of the Voice. What chance would any Mortal Tongue have against a Dragonborn in a test of Shouts? Kyne gave Men the ability to Shout like Dragons, but the hippies of Hrothgar claim it is wrong to use the Voice except in praise to the Gods, Kyne is a Warrior Goddess :stare:

He doesn't look very old, so I don't think old age...sickness? Maybe?

I think founding the Way of the Voice is probably what got him a seat in Shor's Hall.

What is life but one continuous battle? If we do not die by the sword, we still die by the sword of death at the end of our days.

Not all that hard for a death to be lost in history. Jurgen's death may have been left out of history because he went on a hike and never came back. They assume he left to die or something when in reality he left, got attacked by a bandit and died in battle.

For Ysgramor it easily could have been he died to someone far lesser than himself and his associates left his death out of history to protect him.

Lots of people who should be Sovngarde aren't there

Yngol, Ylgar, Jeek of the River

Ingjaldr White-Eye, Ulfgi Anvil-Hand, Strom the White, Freida Oaken-Wand, Heimdall the Frenzied and Jofrior who were all legendary Atmoran warriors who died fighting against the Snow Prince at the Battle of Moesring. Then you have Jofrior's daughter Finna who slew the Prince.

Harald, Hjalmar, Vrage, Olmegrd the Outlaw(who was killed in Morrowind) Borgas and plenty more famous Nords

I'm surprised even Svenja Snow-song isn't there especially since Ulfgar is.

Instead the Hall of Valor is with so much generic fillers for "Hero of Sovngarde" If only Bethesda could make Nordic Heaven more epic.

You enter Sovngarde by doing great deeds, don't really have to die in battle. Rogvir died keeping his belief and for his belief, so most likely he goes to Sovngarde

The problem is, Jurgen is located in Hall of Valor, the bar for heroes. In order to enter, you need to be strong. Jurgen died doing great deeds, then he brute-forced his way to Hall of Valor. I don't see anything wrong in that.

You don't see wimpy heroes in Hall of Valor, now did you?

They're probably there in lore.. just not in the game. It'd be nice if they all had names and a back story though. Would have given it a nice touch.

Bretons do not enter Sovengard :bolt:

I think Shor may not be too happy with an usurper stepping into the Hall of Valor

Actually, he was a Nord. Not a Breton.
