Is it just me? Or are Arcade and Veronica homosixual?

Post » Mon Jul 26, 2010 3:35 pm

I have nothing wrong with this, it's just something I was surprised to see in a Fallout game.

Meh, FO2.
FO1 on the other hand I can't remember having any clear as water homosixual characters.
I just wish we could have had six with more characters than we currently can in New Vegas and for lots of homosixual relations as well.
Too bad it's so little. :(

Yeah I always leave Veronica outside Gomerrah(or ''gonorrhea'' as I call it) with a few thousand caps when I go to see Mr House, she never seems to spend anything however

.

In fact, there's a serious dearth of use for the Ladykiller perk in general. The only one I've found so far is the old lady at the scrapyard... And My courier has standards of dignity.
I would not worry about your characters dignity, chat her up and see her response.

It was pretty uncommon in Fallout 1 and 2 as well. In fact, the only ones who comes to mind were Davin and Miria. Mainly Davin, in fact.

Mrs Bishop.

Hmm. Yes, she was bisixual... But I always got the impression she was just doing it to get back at her husband.

All I remember were the two people in Modoc and Mrs. Bishop. But it wasn't like just blurting out they love girls/guys like in New Vegas. I just wasn't expecting it. Especially a more modern game like that.

Well, lets just say that Obsidian arent as concerned with being PC as Bethesda are...
ALOT of the dialogue in this game have proven that.

I'm a huge conversation nut and my guy has both Confirmed Bachelor and Ladykiller. I've found far more CB options than LK options...

I won't lie, I was disappointed that I didn't get any [Ladykiller] options with Veronica. I really liked her personality.

In fact, there's a serious dearth of use for the Ladykiller perk in general. The only one I've found so far is the old lady at the scrapyard... And My courier has standards of dignity.

Of course, Red Sonja Lucy is an almost acceptable substitute for Vera, but the quest to get in her pants is far from a mere [Ladykiller] check. You have to go to the ends of the Earth and get the eggs of ridiculously dangerous animals for her.

Who is lucy ? I assume deathclaws.
About dignity, my one courier lost that after accidently clicking an option with fisto when activating him...
Well not as bad as Gstaffs dominatrix ghoul fetish...

I give Cass all the whiskey I find but she never drinks enough to swing my way :(

Cass likes boys but she isn't interested in the Courier....hit a LK trigger on her if you want a good laugh.

Actually I would be more surprised to find it in older games. I quite enjoy the uproar of the conservative "leadership" over video games leading our youth into "sin". Anyone else remember 'alien side boob' and the uproar over Mass Effect? Funny thing is, I myself am a Christian and it doesn't bother me at all.

I agree. I've only managed to find a handful of Lady Killer options, and it's kind of disappointing. I felt the same about the lack of situations I got to use it in Fallout 3, and was hoping New Vegas would've changed that. Sigh, ah well, next playthrough I'll see how many options there are for Cherchez La Femme.

The Major at Mojave Outpost is gay too.

I could've sworn there was another one.

I haven't gone through all the dialoge options from legion characters but I'm guessing atleast one of them is.

Cherchez La Femme cracks me up, another little joke.

Cherchez la femme is a French phrase which literally means "look for the woman." - In the sense that, when a man behaves out of character or in an otherwise apparently inexplicable manner, the reason may be found in his trying to cover up an illicit affair with a woman, or to impress or gain favour with a woman.

The phrase embodies a cliché of detective pulp fiction: no matter what the problem, a woman is often the root cause. The phrase has also come to mean more simply "Look for the root cause of the problem."

Could be just the game, but I've had to go back and retrieve Veronica who is left standing staring at nearby girls at times when I've moved off.
