If you've had the expansion installed from the start of your current game, then you should have been attacked by assassins early on. Then you get a journal entry that says report the incident to a guard. When you do, he says to talk to someone in Ebonheart who then directs you to a mage who is also in Ebonheart. She will teleport you to Mournhold. When you get there immediately talk to a guard and you'll receive a journal update.

If you've just ticked off the expansion's .esm now that you've finished the original game as many of us do to avoid getting level 20 armor at level 1, then the above will still hold true. At a random time when you rest you will be attacked by an assassin. Proceed as above.

In short, if you were attacked at level one, getting the journal update from the Mournhold guard prevents further assassin attacks by the Dark Brotherhood. Then you go back to Vardenfall and complete the MQ and then come back to Mournhold the same way when you are ready. Otherwise, wait for the attack and then proceed as described (including getting the journal update from the Mournhold guard so you know where to look).

Yes, and after you finish off the MQ in Tribunal, you will still have Bloodmoon (my personal favorite, I love that island) before you.

Bloodmoon! My favorite as well.

Congratulations on finishing the MQ! You realize that there are still umpteen things to do in Morrowind before you've exhausted the playability for that save, though, right? :) Bwahaha.

Yeah I know theres tons of stuff left. I want to go beat both xpacs and then try oblivion and beat that with expansions before Skyrim. So its going to take a while and I start seminary in 3 weeks (from today) so my time is going to be cut hardcoe. But TES games are the only video games I play anymore so when im going to do anything with my free time it will be these games.
