Just beat the game and....

Post » Fri Jan 15, 2010 4:25 am

I just finished the game; and all I have to say is I was blown away by this game. I had an amazing time playing it, and it far surpassed Fallout 3 for me.

There are so many things I like about this game; and clocking in 35 hours for a completion is one of the longer games I've played in awhile. Granted I skipped a TON of side-quests, because I was getting so svcked into the MQ that I couldn't stop.

I thoroughly enjoyed the game, and the ending.

I would just like to thank all the Devs for spending so much time and working so hard on this beautiful game. I will be playing other playthroughs changing up my strategies and trying different things, and it will surely keep my entertained for awhile.

(At least until Black Ops :P)

Thank you, for an amazing game; that far surpassed my expectations and made me look forwards to the first DLC.

can you answer me this without spoiling

does the main quest amount more then just the power struggle of the factions?

Yeah, I have to say I was svcked into the main quest as well. In Fallout 3 I did much more exploring, if only because I could only handle so much of the tedious MQ at a time. I'm anxious to go back and play again, knowing there is so much left to explore, as well as so many different ways to play the main quest. It is overwhelming, in the best possible way.

Also, can I somehow bring the Brotherhood of Steel to power instead of Mr. DBAG, Caesar or the NRC?

Also also (:P), WHERE'S THE FRIGGIN SHISHKABOB?

I'm stuck with a glitch on the house always wins IV, I can't get passed it :sadvaultboy:

probably would have enjoyed this game a whole lot more if it wasn't infested with bugs.

Nope. The entire thing is you helping one of the factions win. Thats it, I found it really lame. :(

I beat it in 15 hours only because I wasn't expecting the ending to come so fast. I was disappointed in the MQ, it was so short and the climix of the story was pretty much at the end.

If you're playing for the story only, you're really missing out on all the great exploration and battles in the game, which also includes many of the less important side quests.

I just thought it was absolutely terrible writing at that particular moment.

Also the fact that all the other [censored] you do with NCR and such is really well done..

Now i was thinking of maybe going back and giving the main quest a chance and putting that part behind me..

I have not finished the game yet. I have limited time to play it. I am only just finished Prim [yeah, that far behind all of you.] My plan so far is to "find the man who shot me" and get revenge. "Hey, Benny! A word of advice... when you kill someone, make sure they stay dead."

After that, I don't know what I am going to do.

Yep I put 46 hours in my first play through and I strictly followed the quest. Didnt even do much exploring unless I happened to come across something while on my way to a quest location.

Now I am playing through the same way but im going to explore.

I also have to say if you do like me and deside to eliminate the major threats and then deside to take over Vegas for yourself. Be ready for anything because I had a shocker on the ending.
