JUST IN: Breton, High elf are best races.

Can't the nord just learn restoration and fortify everything +100 by that reasoning?

that would be inefficient. why not have the +100 without a timer?
and anyway, a nord would never have enough magicka for a +100 spell. i'm not sure a high elf would.....

(I believe that's what you meant)

Different fortify spells stack(Different spells of any type stack. It's why I loved alteration. 1500 pounds of feather spells). If you have the patience you could give yourself some ridiculous stats no matter what race.(Can't remember if they cap around 255 though. I know fame/infamy does)

I thought the title of this thread was "JUST IN: Breton, High Elf are Beast Races"

Damn, I wish it was.

Much as my Argonian characters would hate to admit it, and especially considering I've never actually played one, I think Dunmer might just take the top spot for me. Not my favourite by any means, I never played Morrowind so I don't feel the connection some people do, but definitely the best by the virtue that they can excel at anything. Sure, a Breton CAN become a thief, but a Dunmer would do better, at least until the Breton caught up. Same with mageing and warrioring, so, while they may not be the best at anything, I say these jacks of all trades are masters of all.
