I've played as a Nord since Oblivion (my first TES) and I've always been a Nord I like the lore and they are a fun class, but now a new part of the franchise comes out and it seems the EP is going to be extremely mainstream and over crowded. Also I played a khajiit in Skyrim and I LOVED it, it made a fun playthrough, but the only problem is I hate the elves they are the only thing keeping me out of the AD. I just can't win.

based on what you said here i would suggest the nord. i dont think you will notice the difference in amount of players as much as you would notice all the elves in aldmeri.

Sound logic. Can't beat that.

You do know the dunmer are in Ebonheart, right? All the factions have mer.

throw everyone off and be the closest race to a nord (in terms of gameplay,) an Orc.

Elven hate is kinda mainstream due to skyirm as well, I say be what you like a nord.

Play Khajiit. Eat the elves. Technically not cannibalism.

Go Breton, no Elves (unless you count Orsimer or the slight touch of mer blood that'd run through your own veins) and they're basically slightly squishier Nords.

Because of the megaserver and campaign technologies, there's a good chance you'd never notice the populations. Megaserver means the number of players in PvE areas will be the same for all Alliances (because of the "channel" system.)

EP will have the most players in PvP probably, but not in every campaign. Heck, you could join a campaign where they're the smallest faction if you prefer to play the underdog.
