I got one vault done to 200 dwellers, started a new one, got it to 100+ and then lost interest.

I might come back if the following is done, but I doubt it, the current state of the game = minimal replay value.

1) Death claws attack too often in the early stages. Since the death claw release, I've had almost only death claws. Maybe they ate all the raiders? I like the added challenge for a high level vault, but both the death claws and mole rats are too much when the vault is low level. (I know it is to make people buy lunch-boxes, but that makes it even more annoying).

2) Radio rooms and Storage rooms need to give XP. It is silly that they don't.

3) Raiders need to drop loot. Period.

4) You need to be able to let your dwellers equip stim-packs, trying to micro manage healing during an attack is the most annoying thing about this game.

5) The papier-mache vault door needs to be replaced with one made out of steel.

Thanks for the game, it was an amusing way to pass a few hours, but now all I want is Fallout 4.

5) OR the wault door room should provide some defence to guardians positioned there. That gives a sence to place them to the guard positions

I'm kindda the same mind set myself. I liked the game, but Deathclaws are way too OP. For them to tear through a door designed to withstand a nuclear blast is absolutely ridiculous. And for them to tear through the floors of the vault is even more absurd.

The longer you keep logged in and play, the more annoying event like deathclaws or molerat happen. Since exploration takes time, game itself really disencourage player to sit down and play for a hour or two. When you log off your resource also deplete at snail pace. You are better off log in, do routine and quickly log off. Kind of weird game design.

Once I realized that the vault cap was 200 I completely lost interest. I guess I could try to fill the entire hole with rooms. I could level up ALL 200 occupants.

a major update is needed to make this game worth playing for more than 2 weeks.

I agree that the game has no replay value but in all honesty it doesn't have any value to begin with. There are limited things to do with massively broken mechanics. The special stats should never be able to all be maxed, the resource rooms should not be the focus of the game, and exploring needs to be more than tap to send them out then one tap to return or two to revive and return.

If people want to see some of the suggestion threads, visit my own thread I just started and within the first two paragraphs you'll see my credits to the other threads so definitely check them out! Hopefully Bethesda will actually try to make a better game.

60 people and level 27 avg with basic weapons (hunting) but did not see a single deathclaw. maybe because i dont use the radio station (built them and upgraded) or did not sent out to explore since i focused more on training everyone to be special. (downside of this : hard to get that happiness rate up)

Deathclaws don't spawn until you have 61 dwellers. Opening the vault door greatly increases their spawn rate.

Been playing since a week after it came out, I have 200 dwellers and many lvl 50 with SPECIALS maxed. The most annoying thing to me is not being able to save the game and transfer it, and the now occurring crash on my iphone 6. Then out comes a pop up ad for buying lunch boxes (a sale for labor day). Bethesda, ARE YOU SERIOUS? FIX your game, where are the patches and updates that people are suggesting?? Make it a playable game for christ sake, then you can launch pop up ads. The ad froze my screen until I exited out disgustingly. I enjoy the game, I have been trying to get all legendary weapons and outfits...but now it is giving me a crash once in awhile on my iphone 6 plus--for the first time ever, probably due to the ad. Many people like the game, and spend money on it, now FIX it!

its a fun game.. if you only check it a few times a day. But I agree with some of the points made. The biggest headache I get from this game is the idiotic micromanagement during disasters. Clicking and dragging dwellers to to location is an annoyance, and often for some reason it takes multiple attempts to succesfully be able to click the dweller (strangely mostly during events). And then there's the healing... with 65+ stimpacks in my inventory, it's downright idiotic that my Dwellers are apparantly STILL too stupid to heal themselves when necessary. Honestly, this should be changed.

Then there's that paper mache door.. enemies breaking in, sure, I can understand. Sure, I understand lowlevel raiders breaking in with nothing but nailbats. I'll take it with a grain of salt. But raiders or deathclaws flatout ignoring defenders and after fighting, happily move on to the next room, with the defenders just staying in their own room, NOT giving chase? Are you f*cking joking? The door and defenders need to be changed. If I put 2 guards near the door, I expect them to HOLD the enemies, to the death if necessary.

I already mentioned in the past that raiders should drop loot. This is a no-brainer even; I have raiders attack me with plasma rifles now... you're telling me my dwellers just toss out the corpses along WITH the weapons after a raid? Again, my dwellers can not be THAT stupid.

At the moment I have only 60 dwellers since I'm still testing statpoint effects on explorers (though losing interest in that as well).. but I feel that even if I expand, there wont be much new for me to enjoy. 3 more rooms, whoopie. Some additional new rooms might be cool. But the game will bore after a while, and unless you decide to do some role-playing or come up with new challenges, it doesnt hold much replay value.

As I've mentioned before, I had ideas on how to improve the game so that it is less micromanaging and more interactive.

For the gist of my thoughts though, I think gambits from Final Fantasy XII would work nicely. So now if your dweller's health drops below 25%, then they will automatically heal themself. This alone would be horrible but in my full write up http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1534394-improvements-to-fos-forward-looking-to-fos-2/I match it up with other new features and changes to make the game more interactive whilst removing dumb mechanics (like dumb dwellers who don't know how to heal themselves) to improve the overall experience.

Yea kinda agree on the vault door thing there with the Deathclaws, however, I'd rather they enter the vault like this instead of they dig tunnels and enter anywhere in the vault.... like molerats. (and I found a way to make my vault molerat proof, so bring it on! :D
