Is it just me or did I see what looked like an ACR in one of

I may be wrong but Im kind of hoping I'm not because I love the ACR. With a silencer the recoil is pleasingly altered to a more accurate burst of projectiles. I'm hoping that you can change firing modes like you could in Crysis, hey what am I thinking this is Crysis! You can do almost anything! :D

Sorry, but MW2 is one of the worst comparisons to actual gun mechanics you will ever see, the ACR does not actually work that way.

The weapon that looks like the ACR is actually the Grendel. ;)

Lol, noone cares if a weapon isn't realistic. See TF2...
And the nanosuit/aliens isn't realistic either...

Yep I have to agree that MW2 changes guns to fit the needs of the game, yes the ACR is a gun with very little recoil but in MW2 it makes it look like you are shooting a BB gun (no recoil at all) and a major change to a weapon was the RPG... but what ever I still have to play the game for a few more months ( however realistic or unrealistic) until Crysis 2 comes out

Wrong. The nanosuit is currently being developed, and aliens exist in space.

We are talking about physics here, not scenarios! And Talon95 said it doesn't represent the real thing, TF2 weapons aren't 'real' weapon models therefore you can't compare them to anything already in existence. The scar in crysis isn't a real weapon so they could have made it handle like an smg and you couldn't argue because it's not real while acr is real.

Actually, the SCAR is just as real as the ACR

It's called a SCAR but the model from crysis doesn't actually exist.

Flamers, these are just some prototype. There's no such thing as a nanosuit in action. Neither is working cloak of humans possible at this point. Plus, why does nomad never eat anything? Or go to toilet? Or sleep?

Perhaps the Nanosuit provides this stuff. An eating module, sleeping module, a toilet module... :P

The guns that are made are all fictional. They look similar to real life guns, but have some science fiction element added to it.

In other words, their more of a futuristic version of the gun, rather than it's real life counterpart.

Hehe

They still got a long way to reach the nanosuit reality. =)
Well at least till 2020 xD

It's a start none-the-less.

We are talking circa 2020 in Crysis, so that's quite possible.

Crysis' SCAR looks like a regular short-barrel SCAR with a different (could be based on the XM8) Picatinny rail segment.

I wish that Crytek would model some real futuristic weapons for Crysis 2, the SCAR is a great start but i would like some other weapons to be used as well.

For instance, i am sure the AUG and the futuristic KRISS (.50 cal automatic submachine gun), will be pretty much standard rifles in the year 2023. They would be great weapons to include. :)
