Just encountered a strange dragon with sanddust breath!?

Post » Fri Dec 20, 2013 7:26 am

So yeah, just fought this totally random basic dragon. Brownish in color, and he breathed a brown breath that looked like sand or dust. What the hell?

I was quite surprised since I have been playing for a long time, and I've never seen anything like it.

I play on PS3, NO Mods, NO DLCs. It was not the lighting, I am absolutely 100% certain it was a brown sand/dust breath, I let him do it on me many times from different angles, there's no mistaking it.

Also searched online, only found one other report of this with no answer though.

What do yiu guys think?

Also, it wasnt just a recoloured frost or fire breath. The whole breath was just different. It even had sticks and stuff flying in it.

Doesn't that just happen when a dragon lands?

What level is your character?

And, what mods are you running?

No matter what level you are dragons still don't breathe sand and sticks.

"Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me."

Completely outdated concept! Dragons are merely using words [of power], and those definitely hurt! :D

I was playing on a fresh character, it would have been 3-10 I would say.

Did he crash? Not sure, he was definetely flying around in the air when the fight started.

This is supposed to be the way it work.

However, why don't you stop answering the questions I am asking the OP.

Answered!

How bizarre. I've never experienced anything like it. Whenever something special, rare or amazing has happened to me in a videogame, someone had already done it before, it was alredy listed in a wiki. In this case, nothing.

You should have taken a picture :\ it's probably just a glitch.

I know, im kicking myself.

I might actually contact Beth about it.

I mean, it didnt look like a glitch, because it looked like an actualy well developed real breath, you could see the sand particles and sticks flying through. So wierd.

Fine.

Why don't you ask the OP to repeat what he said in his opening post and then go and research on the internet if your player level causes the dragons in Skyrim to breathe sticks and sand. Doesn't bother me.
