Just finished Lonesome Road... (spoilers)

Am of mixed feelings.

Ulysses wasn't QUITE able to live up to his build-up and that's to be expected. After all, the hype around him was pretty huge. Still, overall, I liked the character and was able to understand his conversation regarding symbolism and the meaning of them. I think I must have screwed up, however, since I can't for the life of me find a single one of his holotapes.

I will say that I think the basis of Ulysses need for revenge/crowning moment of crazy could have been better handled, however. It reminds me of that moment from Streetfighter the movie. "For you, meeting the Courier was the most important day of your life. For the Courier, it was Tuesday."

Still, I suppose that was literally the ONLY thing that could concretely be established about your character. That you, at one point, delivered mail.

I do wonder if a lot of player characters are upset about it, though. However accidentally, the Courier sort of murdered an entire city. I've heard a lot of people have said this DLC also conflicts with their imagined backstory and I'm wondering which it is. I will say, I suspect it probably has to do with Ulyssses insistence the Divide is somehow his home despite the fact the Courier can deny it.

The Bugs were also pretty harsh with the fact that Ulysses assumed I was with NCR until I wore an NCR disguise. Which is nonsensical but allowed him to comment on the fact that I was (correctly) serving Mister House. Maybe they should have taken the Knights of the Old Republic 2 stance and had a conversation where you told someone about who you really serve.

(Does anyone know what the dialogue for Yes man and Ulysses is? I'd like to know the general theme)

The gameplay, itself, kind of left me cold. Fllayed insane ghouls are sort of a strange enemy to have and I think I would have preferred something a little less out there.

Still, ED-E's backstory and the sacrifice were beautiful.
