So I just finished watching A Boy and His Dog...

Post » Fri Dec 31, 2010 3:21 am

It's the first time I've ever seen the movie and I must say, it was an extremely enjoyable movie and will most likely go down as one of my favorites. I just have a quick question about it.

Spoiler
At the end of the movie, did he feed his dog that woman? I felt it was a little vague but I just assumed he killed her and fed her to Blood.

I hear it's good, but does it have the weird special effects most 70's movies have?

It does have the strange special effects of the era. But I think it really adds to the experience. A remake of the movie with 21st century actors and special effects just wouldn't be the same as the original. It may be bad ass, but nowhere near the cult classic that this movie is.

Awesome.

Spoiler
That evil @#$%& had it coming. :celebration:

That's exactly what he did....

Spoiler
She made a fatal miscalculation about what was more important to Vic, a loyal friend or a bed partner. A better or smarter woman wouldn't have forced him to choose....or at least used her wiles to run down the clock until events made the choice for him. A evil and stupid woman does what Quilla June did and plays her V-Card in the smug and arrogant belief P***** Power conquers all...only to learn the hard way even P**** Power has it's limits.

Wow, lol, I never noticed that board before. Thank you for pointing it out. Even so, this seems like the right section for this thread if you ask me.

I believe that gamesas said something about a boy and his dog being an inspiration for fallout, so I would put it here.
