Just fought 4 Deathclaws and a Behemoth... for nothing :(

Post » Tue Dec 01, 2015 2:53 pm

So mid-map far west (near Nackint or some town like that) I went west and found a transformer area that had at least 4 Deathclaws and a Behemoth. I'm level 21 - so it is obviously set to be highly dangerous.

I fought and killed them all and then eagerly went into two structures that contained ..... zip.... nada.... nothing.

I was sure there would be a unique item or an entrance to some cool place.... but .... nope.

Hardest place I've found so far and it seemed anticlimatic.

Did I miss something?

Well, I got really lucky then yesterday. Took care of a settlement, ran into a place... fought my first Legendary Ghoul Reaver (I almost ran back out of the building, I HATE Reavers and now they got Legendary ones? YIKES), fought some more ghouls and a glowing one, too and came across some sweet new power armor!

Oh and yea, I fought Swan... one of the behemoth, and yea, also found nothing, except for some Swan boat parts LOLOL

But geez, ikillpeople, you WISH you saw 4 Deathclaws and a behemoth? :nope: I pray that I will never cross paths with a DC again! :D Hate those things, too!

Wait til you run into the putrid gangrenous ghouls and bloated glowing ones

They make reavers look like mole rats

Really? You had to say that? Maybe I will just focus on building an Empire in settlements... Shaun and the whole Commonwealth be damned. I won't step out of the comfort of my settlements EVER AGAIN! LOL

Aw come now, I believe in you. Once you kill a couple dozen deathclaws/behemoths they don't seem so scary

LOL I remember walking the Lonesome Road at lvl 40 during FO NV and fighting irradiated deathclaws in the Courier's Mile... well, first the Irradiated Masked Men attacked and took me by surprise. I died a quick and painless death that day... And then came the Deathclaws... wait no, first there was this deathclaw on the highway... I remember loot in an old bus... must loot, I thought. Oh little did I know that this bus would also become my grave LOL

Anyway, after the Courier's Mile, I do believe I am ready for anything... I hope. The commonwealth feels so much tougher and scarier than the Mojave ever was though. It makes Quarry Junction look like a child's sandbox. :D
