Just found something new

Post » Thu May 03, 2012 11:52 am

I found out in sneak mode when you get closer to super mutants they actually talk
also found out that you can hold down the "e" key when your drinking from a river to drink nonstop ....

i,ve been playing this game for more than 3 years like 1000+ hours ..

Anything in the game you might have missed after playing for a looong time ?

I found out you can move the map in the Pip-boy by click and drag. All this time I would fast travel to wayposts to get to my destination and I had to remember which ones weren't full of hostiles.

O_o

It took you 3 years with 1000+ hours to figure these things out?
Did you know you can reverse pickpocket grenades and mines to humanoid inventories and blow them up?
Did you know there is a glitch with the alien blaster and it's ammo so that you can get more without using console commands or mods?
Did you know there is a dinosaur skeleton by the sea in Point Lookout?
Did you know that in Point Lookout in one of the tents on the beach there is a pre-war book that has a colour no other book in the game has? (As far as I know at least)
Did you know that some Trogs actually thank you when you kill them?
Did you know that you can reverse pickpocket power armor onto the children of Little Lamplight, turning them into a mini-Enclave outpost?

Is there anyone around here who hasn't found the "[censored] YOU!" door yet?

In the Museum that Three Chiuahuas(?) send you to there is a space exzibit thingie, if you go in there you can activate the exzibit and two super mutants come investigating.

The Mojave Slasher mask can be found in a tub in Point Lookout.

If you wait around a couple of Swamp Folk by a camp fire they will start dancing.

In... Broken Steel, I think, there is a subway rail you have to walk along, by the end of it a Gnome will have tied down a Teddy Bear to the rail and has a camera next to him.

In Operation: Anchorage there are several moments that were scripted references to war films, like when a soldier tries to survey the enemy from behind a traincart and gets his head blown off the other soldier panics.

And uh... Tons more, but it was like 2 years maybe since I last played Fallout 3.
Sooooo... I'm out!

Did you know there is a guy preaching through a speaker and when you get close to him everything around you explodes ?
Andale thats all I can say lol go there if you haven't.
Do you knoww you can get your very own giddy up buttercup (as seen in the slides) ?
Didvyou know at the games climix you can stand and do nothing causing the memorial to explode having it's own ending slide.
Haveyou met samuel the glowing one in tokahoma park (spelling)?
Firelance it's well known but not too many people get it.
Did you know there are two colonies of ants fighting in a cave and you can choose to help one of them?

Hmmm. Pretty cool. I've seen them all (including the mini enclave troop I created in Lamplight) except for where Trogs thank you. That's pretty interesting.
I've got one for you:

Did you know that in Point Lookout, there is one unique outfit that makes you look like an overgrown boy/girl scout? Pure awesome right there. I carefully choose who gets this gem when I reverse-pick-pocket them.

I must say I was disappointed in my Giddy up Buttercup doll. It was quite small and expensive for my taste, plus it didn't come with a mountable G.I. Joe doll

Anyways, in a seriousness, seriousnesnesnensnens, The anchorage memorial is the same pose the soldiers do in Operation Anchorage. I literally went "what, like zoinks!" when I saw that for the first time.

Then I shrugged it off because cool guys don't look at explosions

But then I saw the FU door, and became mad and went on a mole rat genocide and alien hunt. It was them I tell you! No-bark says so! Cave rat taught him.

I never expected to see an outcast take out fort banister all by themselves .. that too i know the patrol was Vanilla and no mods effected the outcast patrol routes... That was fun fun fun ...
I keep following outcast patrols but they never attacked again after that ..

"The Mojave Slasher mask can be found in a tub in Point Lookout" That's the Pint Sized Slasher mask. On some of the loading slides you will see a newspaper article about him.
