It's fake dude. Bethesda hasn't released any screenshot and won't until GI feb issue is out.

But it's definately interesting.

Hmm...I'm intrigued. It looks like it could be, but I'm sure it's fake. Bethesda is like Fort Knox with their content.

Plausible, but probably fake.

Purely because the first one has been declared fake, I'm willing to bet the second one is too.

The second one looks much more like something I'd expect from a modern video game than the first one, which is just a photoshop. The second one, if a fake, is very cleverly done, with grass being something you'd see in a video game the sun rays look like they crawled out of the ATMOSFEAR mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Though I got to admit that looks more like S.T.A.L.K.E.R in an alpine forest than anything. Clever use of a zenimax copyright stamp.

edit 1: I'll give you this, the second one certainly looks like it's a screenshot from A video game. But it reminds me more of S.T.A.L.K.E.R more than anything.

That explains why the second image looked like it could have been from a videogame. So whoever did that video did a good job of faking a gamesas copyright thingy.

the 2nd one is probably fake but if Skyrim ends up looking like that....well I suggest seeking high ground as my [censored] will be flooding the streets.

It's fake. The first screenshots and info will be coming with the February issue of Game Informer. (Released next month)

To be honest with you, i'm sure what this new engine puts out, wont be much different; hopefully even better.
That CryEngine3 was just stunning though; incredible.

It does look great, at least on the console, I'm sure it will look even better on PC.

And what is even better, Crytek said they are optimizing the game to run on older (mid-end) PCs better than Crysis 1 did with all the patches.
So I won't have to upgrade my PC to enjoy it at it's full glory :D

Even with that I doubt my laptop could run it, its a shame.

Haha I've seen that first picture posted around a lot. People trying to figure out if it was a real picture or a rendered scene.

The second one I could tell instantly. I remember watching that demo for CryEngine3 so many times in awe.

To be honest I don't think the game is going to look as good as those (graphics intensity wise), but I do still think it's going to look great.
