So I just found a very weird Faction bug : Fallout: New Vegas

So for some weird reason, the game seems to have gone weird, I'm very careful about my faction ratings, and well, somehow, my faction rating with EVERY faction went up.

NCR-Accepted went to Liked
Legion- Neutral went to Accepted
BoS- Neutral to accepted (I hadn't even MET them at this point

Has anyone ever run into this weird bug? :unsure:

You must have inadvertantly saved their collective asses. Did you by chance help an old lady cross a street?

Nah, I got stuck on THOW Part 2 (IE I got bored of doing the main quest) and decided to just idly explore caves and etc. I haven been doing any quests. Well, I did a few NCR quests to get accepted then quit, and as I said, I never met the BoS and yet Im accepted O_o

I noticed faction rep sometimes changed (and not correctly) when putting on faction armor. I doubt that's the case though, seeing as your above neutral for 3 factions at war with each-other.

I have done ZERO quests for the Legion, and yet Im accepted. I'm just that lucky and likable :disguise:

Odd, did you change into any fancy golden pantaloons recently?
Or out of any, ohh err missus.

I swear the faction rating A.I is turning into Eden now'a days.
I had a trooper outfit put it on realised it was not disgusing me, on, off, on and off like a OCD caberet act, still no pop up.
Quit, reloaded the game instant pop up.

Have you found all the holotapes yet, even without meeting the you know who.

Nah He probably enslaved one old lady proving to the Legion that he can do what they do gaining their resepect.
Then after that he helped another old lady cross the street when out of nowhere NCR shows up and taxes the old lady for your services making NCR happy
Finally he tried to help old lady Gibson cross the street when she is struck by lightnong killing her and the BOS take everything from her place and thanked him.

It is an odd phenomena. I have had my status with factions actually go down with groups (ex. Idolized to Liked). Last time I checked that's impossible due to how the system works. My guess is that you had a similar effect, but in the opposite direction.

I've got Ceasar Legion hating me (Vilified), but they still don't attack me. This got me on every playthrough. Taking down Legions of Ceasar's Troops is as easy as exterminating Mojave out of radroaches.

This is probably a really stupid comment but doesn't main faction ratings reset at some point after entering the strip? You get invited to visit the NCR ambassador and Caesar who forgives all your past sins, as long as you don't kill any of them they like you.

It suppose to happen after ring a ding ding for Ceasar & after you see Mr House for NCR. For me it just happens when my build is around 20.
