How you can have game which wasn't released and non of game sellers have right to distribute it before official release date?

Simple: stores don't always keep street date, and you can skip the log-in screen unless you want to play MP.

Yeah I was in a store yesterday and I was asking if they had the boxes (they had portal boxes on display) to check the spec and I was told if I bribed one of the staff I could get an early copy but they said they didn't have them in yet, and he wasn't the guy to speak to anyway.

When I first saw the real time editing advertised on Cryengine3 I thought at that moment this would happen.

If they sell game before date they will break policy and Crytek can sue them. Unless it was some small crappy store the big ones won't release game before date because it is same thing like making unofficial content leak to web.

That changes the fact that it happens... how, exactly? One guy from Norway even got his Nano Edition two days ago. Posted pix and everything.

There are plenty of shops that sell major games before the intended release date and its almost always the small ones. Just ask around and you are bound to get one.

Agreed mate, the simulator-like feel is gone , the atmosphere is gone , bullet balistics are non existent , sound is..ok , graphics are worse than crysis 1(don't feed me that "crysis looks good 'cause of mods" ****. If you tell me this game shouldn't look better than a moded 4 years old game than you are an utter moron).But besides that , for me if the story and gameplay are good , the game is good.

Well , the story was bad , really bad.Crysis didn't had much of an epic story either , but it had an constant story line , interesting plot events that were sci fi but not fantasy(crysis 2 features ghosts WTF!), solid voice acting , the best environments ever made in a video game(cryogenic tropical island,you can't beat that) and one of the best video game characters ,Psycho.All in all a very enjoyable experience.
C2 has none of those. It feels bland from the beginning to the end.The guy who wrote the script needs to be bashed to the wall and shot. To show you how **** up the game is , the first level cutscene shows Prophet putting a gun to his head and blowing his brains out , also you find out that Nomad and Psycho are dead... WHAT IN THE PHUK DID YOU SMOKE CEVAT?!?!

Did I blame it on consoles? No I blame Crytek for catering to consoles and their fragile users. I never said it was the consoles fault, kind of like how you can't blame a retard for being retarded and doing retarded things...I think that's a perfect metaphor actually.

you are indirectly blaming the consoles for their very existence. If consoles were not there or if they were not as lucrative of a market then your precious crysis 2 would have been much better right? OR, if consoles were already a generation ahead (read if the lifecycle had been cut shorter) then we would be back in the same situation as 2005/2006 in which the consoles GPU and CPU were about 6 months ahead of the curve and Crysis 2 would have lived up to its potential at which point even if Crytek had catered to the consoles -like Bethesda did in oblivion- no one would have cared. (unless of course someone started complaining that the game had been consolized anyway because of the action bubble choice.....which has nothing to do with the limitations of the hardware but it was gaming flow choice. Happens all the time even with games that were born for PC like DAO but that's another story)

I'm just at awe, no words can properly describe what they've done to a game generations ahead of its time, then come out with this crap. This game on PC is a joke. I spent so much time on the original one, worked my way up on hardware and finally maxed it out not too long ago, still loved the story and graphics.

This game is just a console port disease. I'll finish it of course, horrible story btw. But then its going to get uninstalled and put on ebay. My heart has literally sunk because of this game. Looking forward to this game for about 2 years when reports suggested Crytek was making another one.

They really should've just focussed on the PC. I'm not greedy or stingy but you can't mix almost 6 year old hardware with new hardware and expect positive results. This just wreaks of console port.

Hope you all have a better time with it, but I think there's going to be a backlash. I don't expect this thread or my account to last but this game is pathetic.

Anyway, with regards to the whole trolling 'crysis 2 looks worse than crysis 1'. It depends highly on what level of crysis 1 you're referring to. If you're talking about the second and third levels, then crysis 2 murders crysis and teabags it's corpse into oblivion. But from the level directly before the core until the end crysis 1 curb stomps crysis 2. It may just be down to the time of day, but the level when you first exit the energy sphere is the best looking level of crysis by a long way (well, apart from core).

The problem is that crysis 2 is about the same as crysis 1 overall. It's the issue that people can even argue the point that crysis 1 is on par. But to say crysis 1 is definitely better looking without qualification is moronic. There are definitely some hideous looking parts in there I'll wait until crysis 2 hits retail to make a complete judgement, but i'd say they're about equal as both games have aspects which are better than the other. It's not perfect, as crysis 2 should be the undisputed king, but ah well.

I think if Crysis 2 manages to look just on par with Crysis 1 whilst being hindered by console limitations (I'm getting it for 360 regardless) then that's pretty damn impressive!
