Ya this year they were shutting down all the stores. Not sure if you have followed amiibo, but Target had an exclusive Rosalina amiibo. Target Canada wasnt stocking them, or anything else new for that matter due to liquidating everything for the closure. This was this year so Im not sure if its closed or in process still.

I've lost a lot of the Fallout spirit because of it. I am PO.

Target bought Zellers in Canada and never really got a foothold to really compete with Walmart and spent a lot of money rebuilding the stores and lost a lot of money in the process. They only lasted a couple of years I think. I heard that Targetr in the States was in deep financial problems due to the loses in Canada. In Two years Target lost about 2 Billion US.

As far as I know all the stores are closed since they wanted to leave Canada ASAP with those loses. They likely did not do proper research on the Canadian market. Walmart did and they are very successful here in Canada.

To the OP sorry that it was cancelled they should have notified you sooner did they give you a reason for it.

All these canceled pre-orders. Where are they going that they're getting canceled? You would think pre-ordering THEN would have locked you in.

Stuff like this ain't right. I mean sure it's hard to tell whose a legitimate buyer now and then but there must be a way to lock in a Pre-Order. It'd be nice if Beth had a way to track orders directly from their website so that if a cancellation occurs a new distributor will then be notified and your new Pre-Order confirmation sent out.

Stuff like this is what makes me nervous about preordering online. Hopefully this won't happen to my Amazon order.

I still can't understand, almost a whole month after my order and I get notified it got cancelled? Man. Yet, if I remember correctly I ordered it from Target not a whole long after they had it listed for pre order, and days after I ordered they still had it up to pre order.

I'm on support right now.

EDIT: Apparently I got a notice about a delayed shipment and didn't approve of it?

I stopped using Target as a place to preorder collector's items from after they screwed me on ordering a Majora's Mask New 3DS XL. Managed to snag one anyway, but it was a wakeup call that they can and would just pull the rug out from under me.

Lesson learned, unfortunately the hard way. I will not be buying one of eBay for twice the price.

Target also exists in Australia (Im not sure how well its going or if its the same owners as the US, but it still exists).

Sorry OP. Managed to order one from Best Buy. They are notorious for selling product that they don't have so I am a bit nervous myself.

So after looking at the email they sent me July 2nd, they told me my order shipment has been delayed. I looked and the delivery date was not the release date, it was set for July or August, so if I'm correct Target goofed with the date and thus had to cancel my order because they couldn't deliver it by then. I think the real reason is because they didn't have enough supplies for the demand and thus they pulled that gimmick. It's seems like a cover up. Every time that I have called Target they tell me they sent an email requiring my approval for the delayed shipment? Smh.

Did you get a sales receipt?
