For six years, I played Oblivion non-stop. I must have at least 250 days on it. At the very least. There was one summer holiday where I was very ill, so I stayed inside and the ENTIRE six weeks was spent on Oblivion.
About a year ago, my XBOX broke, and wouldn't read disks. For some reason, this was never remedied as my XBOX would (with a little patience) play Skyrim, so at least I still got my Elder Scrolls fix. Well just two weeks ago, I had the XBOX fixed. Then today I get Oblivion back after lending it out for a week.
I have a plan to make a Dunmer character who is the younger (barely advlt) version of my Skyrim character. This character will live out a life in Oblivion for a while, then when I'm done with him I'll skip 200 years and take him to Skyrim for another round of adventuring
I did every quest back in the day. I have every achievement, every 'unique' weapon, every skill at 100, and I also created an army of followers (after seeing a post on here a while ago during my lurking days) I even put the game away thinking I was done, but the faint call has grown irresistible. http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1451524-after-six-years-its-over/ actually hits the nail on the head.
Just wanted to say that I did enjoy popping my head in here every now and then to read about people's characters or to enjoy quizzing, but will no be here far more for the foreseeable future. I hope I fit in well
