Enjoy! Are you starting with FO3 at least? Should probably try that first then jump into NV.

I just got mine this morning.

I'm liking it alot so far, been browsing and posting for a while. Seen all the negative stuff and almost cancelled my order but I was pleasantly suprised. One thing I do worry about is its replayability. I'm deeply involved in the characters atm but I can't see the opposite choices being that drastic and apparantly legion missions are few (I haven't met them yet). I didn't take that 'wild wasteland' trait (well something similar to

I've been playing on Hard/hardcoe as Normal was way too easy. This game has been a real challenge which I enjoy, I actually feel like a wastelander. I just wish I never took the 'failed bachelor' perk, kinda killed my roleplaying. Still I love that I actually get distracted by sidequests, I almost feel obligated to do some just because I need the supplies and the quests are intertwined with my main goal.

Im doing it on hardcoe too, took the ladies man perk. Im finding this game very difficult, probably the learning curve or my build (I build based on myself and I prolly wouldnt be veyr good at living in the wasteland lol).

I've had some seriously challenging encounters as well. I don't base characters off of myself generally, but I do try to create a believable person and then write their story and backstory in my head as I go. The difficulty of the game is extremely dependent on how you build your character and potentially your skill with more shooter oriented games. On a good day, I can go on a rampage in Call of Duty, but I have to really switch gears to go into kill mode in this game, and it doesn't fit the character at all. That being said, it would be easy to just take all the right perks and destroy everything in your way, but it's not at all believable or even fun. Nice to see that this forum is full of RPG nerds like myself!
