Still no option to search for games by region :(

Let's hope it does it automatically, it may be a while until we get patch notes! ;)

I've not turned my music volume back on yet so didn't notice!

I really hope this isn't the 'fix all' patch we have been waiting a month for!

i need to play some more MP before i want to judge, connections still look like garbage but gameplay has been worse - but i had a few good games in the past too. let's see how this turns out.
what i noticed: in campaign, i used to have 10/13 attachments. i just tried to grab a nova silencer on corporate collapse and when i quit the mission and looked at my stats it read 13/15.

Doesn't look like they fixed the map rotation, still get Wall Street and Pier 17 first every time on Crash Site!

Easy 'Traveller' skill assessment unlocks for those 2 maps!

I know not everyone will agree thats cool. But ive tested the game out a bit and found alot of my games are smoother, stealth kills acutally work now and i dont need to load a whole clip to kill someone. Also everyone doesnt have the best connection in the world but from some of the scores people have had today...id say theres an improvement.

I actually had a game in which 3 people had green bars. Coincidence or patch? Not sure

Anyway i know its quite soon to judge but this, for me, leaves one more Q. Whens the DLC arriving?

And do Crytek have any info on what they plan to implement into the gameplay in the future?.....ok thats 2 Qs

It cannot be the PC Patch 1.4 that we've received as well, if you look at the patch notes 80% of the fixes are PC exclusive, they have nothing to do with consoles. It would be useless for us.

Well I have been testing the patch in SP for a few hours now since it came out to see if they fixed the grain glitch. It was going great, the patch seems to have fixed many things like the pistol silencer which is the most obvious. They also seem to have added and tweaked a few of the tactical options. It seemed to also run slightly smoother. Well there I was on the FDR driving the APC and kicking ass and taking names when I took a glance out to the city in the distance. Sure enough they have not fixed the grain glitch. That is the one bug that I really wanted fixed and it's not. Thanks for all the other fixes Crytek, but I still have to use the one level at a time, dashboard, restart method using mission replay to avoid this glitch. :/ Other than that I am happy with the patch.

Was this patch intended to fix the grain glitch? It didn't. Maybe now we can have some information about whether we can ever expect it to be fixed or should I just forget this game and move on? I cannot believe the total lack of info leading up to this patch but now I understand why, it's because the grain glitch was to never be fixed with this patch and clearly you guys think it's better to simply never admit to the problem nor admit to any efforts to fix it. Truly a sad situation.

the grain glitch is probably the biggest complaint people have had and the patch didn't fix it?

Just played MP again since the latest patch, I had 6 games and this is how it went:

1) Migrated into duplicate game within 10 seconds.

2) Migrated into duplicate game within 30 seconds.

3) Migrated into duplicate game within 30 seconds.

4) Lobby started with 3 people in it, half-way through the load-in screen it dropped back to the lobby with the message "Cannot retrieve session details".

5) Migrated into duplicate game within 2 minutes.

6) Xbox froze on load-in screen, had to restart it.

Synopsis: Another useless patch.

I agree gentleman. I'll be glad if the Pistol Silencer is fixed. I liked my Silenced Hammer. But I suppose it don't matter all to much, I'd already found a work-around for a good number of the many glitches and bugs in the game.

You can get it online, it's called: Portal 2.
