With all the speculation surrounding the new Fallout i've been thinking about future Fallout games. Not saying it should be for the next one, just an idea. (I'm not a storyboard writer) Fallout: Los Angeles. Been thinking it should be about a few years before the Fallout 3 time setting. You start as a child exactly like Fallout 3, only you are born into the Brotherhood of Steel. You Develop your traits by your actions in your younger years, won't be that many. I'm thinking it'll be, again like Fallout 3. 1, 10 16, 18, you are pretty much born into war. (With the Enclave Obviously) Kinda get to see how BOS and the Enclave start their conflict. Again not a writer but I think there is something there. Maybe after Fallout 4? Would be pretty sick, I loved the way Fallout 3 starts, It's Kinda like you are building yourself. Didn't care for the way you were kinda put into someone else's shoes in Fallout: New Vegas. Don't get me wrong, I love Fallout: New Vegas. I think think the Fallout series is the greatest concept of all time. But I liked Fallout 3 Better than Fallout: New Vegas (Besides the hardcoe setting, thought that was a real key addition) I don't know but I kinda think it would be pretty awesome to be really apart of a faction. In Fallout: New Vegas you could chose a faction to support, and really be the heart of it, but not really apart of it. Examples, If you chose to support NCR than you are pretty much doing all the heavy lifting for them, but you are not gonna be apart of NCR. Same thing with Caesars Legion, you can chose to support them but you are not one of them. All you get at the end is a pat on the back and sent out of the Mojave just doing what a courier does. So I think if you are truly apart of a faction and have the ability to form alliances, start a war or even a genocide on any other faction would be awesome. Anyway whoever read this whole thing let me know what you think.
