I just installed Arena with Dosbox. My computer can run Morrowind with graphics enhancing mods no problem so why is there lag when I'm playing Arena? The only change I've made since installing it was making it fullscreen.

Hmm, did ya try the following?

First, if ya using find the DOSBox-0.74 version, look for the DOSBox-0.74 Options ( I am using XP, so the path for me is usually menu --> All Program --> DOSBox-0.74 --> Option --> DOSBox-0.74 Options)

Open the DOSBox-0.74 Options.

Find the [cpu] section of the DOSBox-0.74 Options.

If ya find a line

cycles=auto

change it to

cycles=max

Save and see if it work.

I press Ctrl+F12 whilst in dosbox to put cpu cycles up to 15000 or so, whatever is enough to get it running smoothly. I'm on db .72 at home if that's relavent.
