EVERY female preset that is not khajiit or argonian has lip stick. I'm guessing no lipstick is not an option. Some of them have normal colored lips, but they still look all glossy so it is obvious that it is lip stick.

You can guess that all day long, and you can say stuff is 'obvious' too. But you're basing this on images that are what...two inches big? And presets.

Oblivion had a slider for this stuff, and from the look of the presets, their level of attention to detail in character creation has been kicked up a notch. Just be patient.

I mean that is kind of silly. I'm not the type to complain about baseless stuff typically, and while this doesn't really matter, they went for a grittier look in this game, right? So why the hell is our Dovahkiin wearing lipstick?

I'd be shocked if it wasn't possible to disable it though/NOT put on makeup. Doesn't bother me much and it's not a big deal, but it is a bit odd. But like I (and others) said, it's certain to be a customizable option. No need to worry.

I don't understand how this matters. I'm a girl and I love fantasy/sci fi and pop culture. I grew up on busty babes in comic books and in my favorite movies. I LOVE playing sixy girl characters. I love Boris Vellejo fantasy art too, the ones with the oiled up chicks in the mail bikinis? I don't think it's sixist at all to appreciate the female form. Is it 'unrealistic'? Yeah...it's make believe dude.

I understand the flipside, that some people want as much realism as possible. But there are dragons, magic, all sorts of fanastical creatures and events in these games...lipstick is your bone of contention?

Sorry, but I find your comment in poor taste. Maybe you should be a little less judgmental when something isn't suited for you. I love makeup and I do wear a ton of it all the time. The way you posted this implies there's something 'wrong' with me.

Edit: personally, I don't find most of the presets to be attractive.... they're too hostile/angry/rough/rugged/dirty. But, then I remember many of the other pictures we've seen (from the barmaid, to the several in-game character shots) that were nothing like the presets, and realize/remember that there'll be a bunch of other options for doing stuff.... Beth just (oddly) decided that instead of showing a range of options with the presets, they'd all go for "ragged barbarian" with all of them.

I don't see it as a problem. Not even if the male characters had it as a preset as well. It's a preset.
That's what custom options are for, so we can craft the image of our player as we wish.

How thats can be, thats is impossible race discrimination, I'm sure there will be Beautiful Beast mod thats add lip stick to fellow Khajiits and Argonians also :teehee:

I'm using a 40" HDTV as my monitor....the pics are NOT 2". And I've seen a character creation video and it actually seemed to me that they dropped it a notch. But it WAS a khajiit so there might just be less options for them...
